TMNT

There are few comics more original than the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Originally a black and white comic, some issues were later released in colored, graphic novel format (the only ones which I own). The turtles are now published by Image Comics and I have recently found them over here. Although I have to get used to the new style of artwork, the stories are wonderfully similar to the original.

Anyway, as everyone must know, it has also been a cartoon for many years now (not a bad one either) and a line of toys from Playmates (I love them!). The movies have been great too (with the exception of II perhaps).

"TMNT2: The secret of the Ooze" annoyed me because I expected the TGRI guys to be revealed as aliens (as the TCRIs in the comics) throughout the whole thing. Especially in light of Donatello's constant complaint that there had to be more to their creation than a simple accident. I was sure that was what they were building up to. Oh well. They made up for it with a rocking third movie. They're planning a fourth too.

Hopefully, I will have more here later.
