All shot are chromakey shot, and composed with CG
background in Inferno. All backgrounds are CG, build and rendered in Alias|Wavefront
Power Animator. One of the biggest challenge in this film is to do
camera match between Live shot footages and CG background. 12 markers
were used to ensure at least there are 6 markers in screen. Opening shot was taken from previous commercial,
and new background city was rendered in Alias|Wavefront Power Animator.
Particles were added in On-line using Inferno particles. Most of the shot (both CG and Live-shot) were color
corrected in Inferno to get a perfect match, and local lights were added
to match lighting. The CG shot itself has more than 100 lights to simulate
real lighting. A pre-viz model done in Softimage|3D was used to
construct the chromakey stage and dummies for live shot. The Red Ball floating around was a 3D model and animated
in FlintRT, and transfer to Inferno for final composition. Some of the shot also finished in Fire. For final touch-up all materials were transfered back to Inferno for Re-grain process. This project was commenced in 2nd week of May 1999, and finish at June 3, 1999
