I'm sure all of you will agree with me that my page needs an update. I haven't gotten around to looking at it in awhile, and I apologize. But, unfortunately, I have nothing really new and fresh to say. Deal with it. I have to.
"Project S.T.E.A.L.T.H. The Legacy of the Trinity: Jade's Story" is finally here. I'm putting this here so that I can get the opinions of outside people. This is now on-line, so read it and send me your thoughts. Be nice. I have a fragile ego, and I LIKE not being able to fit through my doorway! My address is at the bottom of the page.
Since this has been up, I have gotten many (read: four) messages with
input. I would like to take the time now to thank those kind hearted
souls out there who informed me of their opinions, and for keeping my
self image intact. I would like to hear from more of you out there.
So, even if you despised the story and couldn't believe that you spent
you're precious time reading it, please send me mail as to why. And then
go away. You're sending bad vibes.
"Jade's Story" was conceived about three years
ago as a comic book while I was sitting in photography class with my
friend, Courtney Brown (now you're part of cyberspace, C.B.! Smile!)
After we came up with the three major... I don't know. Comparatively
speaking, I SUPPOSE they may be heroes, and the major villains (Andrews,
etc.), we recruited Heather Hatfield to be Catastrophia, and the series
took off... well, kind of. When we got the basic idea, the characters,
with their personalities, the writer (me, for the most part), penciler
(C.B., generally), and inker (H.H. mostly) down, and we started to
actually DO the comic... I moved. FAR, FAR, FAR away! So, the comic
is coming, but it's coming slowly!
For those of you who liked my story, I should have parts of Nitric's
Story and Cata's Story up soon. I told the writers of the prospective
stories to send them to me, and I'm hoping they will. I have no idea
how long it will take. We take a long time to send stuff to each other.
One more thing. I'm starting a survey about these stories. Please
send me your opinions about which of these characters are your favorite,
who's your favorite villain, what you liked most about the characters
or the story in general, what you liked least about them, and anything
else relevant. Yeah. Okay. I haven't come up with an official
questionnaire yet. Sorry. Actually, you may want to wait until the
other two stories are up. Yeah. Good idea, me. As soon as they're
up, I'll post questions that I'd like you all to answer. (Come on
Nitric and Cata!)
Anyway, meanwhile, "Jade's Story" has become
a novel for me. Jade has also become a "personality", and a major one
at that. Because it was created to be a comic, and because the comic
was supposed to be like Marvel's X-Men, the book seems to be fan-fic
out of no comic universe... yet. The characters have strange and
unusual powers, etc. I have gotten posts about the length of my story,
and I would like to say now that IT IS NOT DONE! It is nowhere close!
Oh, and the characters and stories are copyrighted. They have been since
the beginning. I just didn't mention it. Don't even TRY to rip me off.
Jade will come after you. And we all KNOW how bad that will be, don't
we? No, really. If you want to use any of my characters, just ask! I'll
run it by the committee. Courtney and Heather. Otherwise, don't do it.
Or I'll get very angry. So, enough blabbing on about stuff you could
care less about. On with the...
And speaking of cool stuff, I'm going to start an archive. I will
probably begin with just X-related fan-fic, but I may add more later.
I want to try to get the stories off of alt.comics.fan-fiction, or
whatever that address is, but I don1t know how to get on there yet. If
you have any ideas, please send them to me. Once that happens, I
should be starting the archive soon after that. If you want to know
the address for my soon-to-be-archive, it's
I have lost some links, recently that I had intended to put up here.
I'll try to find them again. They will hopefully be up in less than a
week. My links list is growing so large that it's beginning to take
away time that I need to actually add stuff to my page! I'm
always adding links, but I do lose some along the way, so if you have a
page that you honestly think I'd like, or if I've promised you a link
to my page but haven't gotten around to it yet, assume that I've
forgotton, and send the address to me. I'll look at the page, and if I
like it enough, I'll add it to my site.
E-mail all opinions, lavished praise, or even (gasp!) flames to
archiver@hotmail.com I'll try
to respond to the messages when I can, and please, if you would, put
something in the subject line that lets me know what you1re commenting
about. I get a lot of mail, and I would like to respond to those before
I move on to anything else. Ciao.
My stuff can get a bit graphic at times, so it is not for some readers.
I did not want to get any complaints about this, so I am putting up
this warning. I'll try to leave the worst parts out, but I'm told that
my stuff can still get pretty depressing. So, here's a helpful hint.
If you can't handle Stephen King, you probably can't handle my story
content. I don't think it's ALL THAT BAD, but my brother refuses to
read my work while around food of any sort, and he LOVES stuff like
Stephen King, so I don't know.
Read my depressing and unusual work
That's all for now! Remember to check in at my site soon. Even MORE
cool stuff will be up!
