Besides "The Witches of Eastwick" and "INDY and The Temple of Doom," this is another hard to find Williams score. I was (really) lucky enough to pick it up in a used CD store for $8, and it is not a cut out version! Its auction starting bid range from $75 to $100. The style of the score is very similar to his score to "Stanley and Iris," many gentle instrumental (mainly piano and woodwinds) solos accompanied by soft orchestral passages. There are two themes. When I heard the first theme, I was kind of surprised. It is because the theme sounds exactly like a melody that is heard in Home Alone 2. It is in tracks 4 "Christmas Star" of the Home Alone 2 score CD. The second theme appeared in the track "Second Chance" which is also used as "End Credits." It is also a very beautiful theme. The tracks are basically different variations and arrangements on the theme, which Williams always does very well. If you love "Stanley and Iris," you definitely will love this one too.
