When I first listening to this score, I found it very weird. You will never find an Elfman score like this anymore. Since it is his first score, the style that he has now was not developed yet. Since the score is performed by Oingo Boingo, you can imagine how does the score sound in general. What makes the score weird is not the music but the "vocals." Vocals is in quotation because they include some random yelling, mumbling and singing. However, one may enjoy this score very much because of its funny weirdness. Listening to this score is like listening a draft or unpolished work. Some songs even sound like the songs from "Nightmare Before Christmas." Get it if you are weird.......just kidding.
