This long awaited score/movie has probably disappointed many soundtrack/movie fans, including me. I feel fine that he does not use too much the themes from Jurassic Park. In that case, however, he should compose some new themes, which he did not. There is only one new theme and it is not a fantastic one. The highlight tracks are those with heavy drums banging. In other words, there is no good orchestral score that is without drums. The rest of the tracks are dark and not easy to listen. Also, I think the package of this CD is a little stupid. You need to find another case to store the CD unless you want some serious scratches on it. After all, a very disappointing CD. | |
