The Pagemaster

Another excellent collaboration between James Horner and London Symphony Orchestra. As usual, this Horner's animation score is rousing, exciting, and enjoyable. The main theme is based on the song "Whatever You Imagine" by Barry Mann and James Horner (Also in the album). I personally think "WYI" is a better song than "Dream Away" (the movie title song) by David Foster. Just like "An American Tail," the song melody is merges in the score, except there is no singing in this score this time. As stated in the liner notes, the score has 'three different animated realms: Horror, Adventure, and Fantasy. Horner delivers different flavors for each realm and the LSO certainly performed the best out of it. If you like other Horner animation score, you don't want to miss out this one.
