Comedy scores are not what he always does. But with his talents, is there anything that he could not do? The style of this score is very similar to his score to "Regarding Henry". Light, relaxing and rich in melodies. The main theme is yet another enjoyable theme. It is introduced with piano at the beginning of the album. A few variation of the theme can be heard in the rest of the score. Also, since the movie is related to army, some of the music are orchestrated with marching beat. The march variation of the main theme is one of them. The score is generally playful and gives you a good modern feel. It carries a nice and relaxing beat constantly. However, the score may sound a little incoherent due to the marches. But it should not bother one very much. As a Zimmer score, it is not an outstanding one but it is still very enjoyable. People who are particularly fond of his music should check this one out. For the others, it is not a big miss if you have not heard this one.
