Star Wars - Shadows of the Empire

This CD really deserves a five star. This composer is young and has not done a lot of major works. However, I have to admit that he is quite talented. When I first saw the CD, I wonder where is this score from. Had a new Star Wars movie already came out? It turns out it is just a score for a Star Wars fiction. (Well, the "Shadows of the Empire" is striking the market - books, toys, action figures, PlayStation game....and music.) This CD won't disappoint any Star Wars music fans. Other then the original Star Wars Theme and the Imperial March, many great themes and melodies are composed. I am talking about not one, not two, not three, but MANY. The tracks are not repetitive. One track sounds different then the others; they are unique. Also, the Royal Scottish Phil. has a great performance, which make the music even better. Even if McNeely were contracted (Of Course John Williams did) to compose the score for the New Star Wars Trilogy, I would have confidence in him. The CD is also a Enhanced CD. It has art works and many information related to the "Shadows of the Empire."
