This score certainly launched the film scoring career rocket for Mark Mancina. This is his first score that is avaliable in a commercial release. There are two themes. The main theme is probably well known to a lot of people. It is simple, but catchy and effective. The theme does not appear as much as I expected. In fact, I think he should use the theme a little bit more in the score. There are also some enjoyable variations of theme. Other than the main theme, he also composed a love theme. It does not expose in full until the very end of the album. It is not used as much probably because of the contents of the film. As some of you may have expected. The score is half electronic and half orchestral. The first half of the album is very enjoyable and draws my attention constantly. The second half of the album, however, becomes a little dark and less melodic. And the electronic sounds become a little bit annoying. So, you may want to get this score just because of the theme. But I suggest you to look for other scores first.
