If you don't know this score is composed by Michael Convertino before hand, you may think this score is composed by James Horner. Lucky enough, it is NOT by Horner, otherwise, there will be another proof of his self-plagiarizing. The main theme is almost the same as the theme from Cocoon (by Horner). Both movies are about old people, except one has an sci-fi element in it. I bet they used the music from Coccon as the temp track. It is a soft and gentle orchestral score with some occasional synthesizer sounds kicks into it. It is a nice score to listening to if you want some quiet background music. Other than the main theme, there are not much memorable materials from the score. In order to make the score not as quiet as it is, it also contains three Spanish songs. | |
