Although it may not seem so, THE LIST IS BASED ON A EUROPEAN PERSPECTIVE OF THINGS. Newcomers in this months chart: - Julia Louis-Dreyfuss is back again. Is this by the way the final season we can watch her as Elaine in "Seinfeld"? We will see... - Jennifer Love Hewitt is the youngest person on this list right now, as she was born in 1979. Still, she has done a lot in her short life, starred in both TV series and movies and released a couple of albums, so now when we can see her as Sarah in "Party of five" she is definitely worthy to be on this list. - My personal favourite Melrose Place "bitch", Kristin Davies (Brooke) is a new entry this month. Her total selfishness and self obsession makes her one of the most interesting bad girls in television right now. - Helena Bonham Carter is our only non-american entry on this month's chart. She has been in lots of movies lately, including "Mighty Aphrodite", which received several Academy Award nominations. - Joan Osborne is yet another one of the new type of women that we can see invading the rock scene. I'm talking about the likes of Alanis Morisette, Tori Amos, p j Harvey, etc. By the way, nice to see that Eric Bazilian from rock group Hooters is co-writer of her big hit "One of us". Movers: - Yes, we have a new number one and it is no other than the splendid X-files star Gillian Anderson. Gillian has done a lot of self promotion lately and it has proven to be a smart move. The Net has been flooded with pictures from FHM lately. - Neither Sharon Stone nor Elisabeth Shue managed to get an Oscar for best actress this year. Winner was instead Susan Sarandon, who deserve an Oscar by now (she has been nominated five times!). Better luck next year... - Salma Hayek is the best climber on the list this month. She will probably become a superstar this year, mark my words... - Isn't it ironic? It is 1996 and I couldn't think of a better travel companion than four versions of Alanis Morisette on a forest road somewhere in Canada, perhaps going home from College at Spring break. The video to "Ironic" brings to mind the movie "The Sure Thing" where Daphne Zuniga starred towards John Cusack and did a lot of travelling in a car. Almost made it into the list (we'll see next month): - Fran Drescher, our favourite nanny. - Melissa Errico, Alex Bartoli in "Central Park West". - Mira Sorvino, Oscar winner for her role in "Mighty Aphrodite". - Farrah Forke, kicked out of "Wings" and now back in "Dweebs" and guest starring in "Lois & Clark". - Cameron Diaz, seems to be making a comeback now, but I guess she was never really away. - Uma Thurman, about to star in the new batman movie. Comments, nominations, etc. are as always welcome. Just remember that a nomination such as "Ms. x should be in because of her big hooters" hardly will be taken seriously.
