The list is as usual based on qualities such as beauty, sex
appeal, charisma, intelligence, resent efforts and charm.
Although it may not seem so, the list is based on a European
perspective of things.
 
Newcomers in this months chart:
 
- Julia Ormond is more or less a newcomer in Hollywood but
  has already worked with actors such as Brad Pitt, Sean
  Connery and Richard Gere. She is definitely as star in
  rising, so keep an eye out for her.

- Drew Barrymore is back again! It seems as if her ambition
  right now is to become the new Madonna and just as her
  idol, she has learned how to get publicity (not necessarily
  good) in the media.

- Eva Herzigova, supermodel who gave the wonderbra a 
  face (or should I say a bust?). She is the most successful
  model coming out of the former eastern Europe and it is
  always nice to get a new nationality on the list (there 
  are women from 9 countries in the list right now). 

- Patricia Arquette is currently starring in the new John
  Borman movie about Burma ("Beyond Rangoon"). By the way, 
  sister Rosanna just fell out of the list this month.

- Uma Thurman has sort of always been right below the top 50
  in this list and has now climbed back into the list again.

Movers:

_ The new number one is Scandinavian supermodel Helena 
  Christensen. One of the most beautiful women in the world
  and always working hard.

- Elizabeth Hurley is the most talked about woman right now.
  She will probably never be as hot as she is now, so hopefully
  she takes advantage of the situation and gets herself some
  good parts in movies.

- Sandra Bullock is now also officially a superstar in Europe. 
  American readers of this list have of course thought of her 
  as a star for over a year now, but Sandra has up to now not 
  really been all that hot in Europe.

- Kylie Minogue is all of a sudden back everywhere in Europe.
  Magazines, tv shows all shows her. Her new movie is as far as
  I know not coming out in some months yet ("Street Fighter" is
  of course already out).
