Newcomers in this month's chart: - Alyssa Milano is one of the most popular girls of the Internet. Unfortunately for us, that isn't good news, since her dear mother Lin is on a mission to personally clean the Net from all kinds of pictures and material of Alyssa. She has already won at least one battle in court where an Internet webmaster had to pay a lot of money for publishing fake pictures of Alyssa. Anyway, back to the nicer subject of Alyssa, who most recently has had success with her new TV series "Charmed", in which she co-stars together with Shannen Doherty and Holly Marie Combs. It looks like Alyssa will continue to be successful for a long time, doesn't it... - Keri Russell has been starring in several TV series that failed, such as "Malibu shores" and "Roar". Although those series probably hurt a lot of people's careers, that was never the case for Keri. It was just a matter of time before she would hit the jackpot and now she stars in the highly successful TV series "Felicity". That's good news for all of us who loves Keri. I maybe by the way should admit to having actually thought that the Aaron Spelling series "Malibu shores" wasn't all that bad (the show was cancelled after five or so episodes, so apparantly my views wasn't shared by others). Well it was still a lot better than "Beverly Hills 90210" is these days (then again, watching paint dry is also more interesting than watching that show). - Rebecca Gayheart has also been around for a while now. The Noxzema girl has however still not really found her big break-through role. She starred in a couple of horror movies during 1998, "Scream II", in which she had a small part as Sorority Sister Lois and Urban Legend, a movie that wasn't all that well received. Maybe will her role in the new Rodrigues movie "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Hangman's Daughter" mean a final break-through. The leading female role in the movie is played by the sexy, Brazilian actress Sonia Braga. It's sounds like a sure winner, at least for me who happen to be a big fan of the films of the Rodrigues brothers. - The final newcomers on the list were voted back there by you guys. The lovely Famke Janssen makes yet another guest appearance, as well as the goofy Jenny McCarthy, who I haven't seen much of since she hosted the 1998 MTV Europe Music Awards. Movers: - Last year's last number one is also this year's first number one. Yes, Jennifer Lopez is still the hottest woman in the world, since she probably is the most talked about celebrity woman right now. Jennifer is a goddess and will hopefully be one of the forces that will make feminine curves fashionable again. - Meg Ryan is enjoying the success of her latest movie "You've got mail" in which she once again co-stars with Tom Hanks. They also co-starred in "Joe vs. the vulcano" and "Sleepless in Seattle". "Sleepless..." was a huge success while "Joe..." was a failure for anyone except Tom Hanks, who met his lovely wife Rita Wilson on the set. Anyway, Tom and Meg could become the Spencer Tracy/Katherine Hephurn movie couple of our time and that wouldn't be half bad... - The critics have summarized the year in music and this year's perhaps biggest female winner seems to be Lauryn Hill, whose debut album as a solo artist "The miss-education of Lauryn Hill" is considered to be one of the best albums of the year. - Will Gwyneth Paltrow get her first Oscar for "Shakespeare in love"? Well. it wouldn't surprise me anyway. Since Gwyneth came out of the shadow of her former boy-friend Brad Pitt, she has more and more clearly shown that she is one of the best actresses of the late 90s. Almost made it into the list (we'll see next month): Alyson Hennigan, actress "Buffy the vampire slayer", USA Jamie Luner, actress "Melrose Place.", USA Heather Medway, actress "Viper", USA Elle MacPherson, supermodel/actress, Australia Anna Falchi, actress, Finland Fairuza Balk, actress, USA Elizabeth Hurley, actress/model, UK Laura Prepon, actress "That 70s show", USA Tyra Banks, supermodel/actress, USA Charlize Theron, actress/model, South Africa Anna Kournikova, tennis player, Russia Gwen Stefani, singer "No Doubt", USA Isla Fisher, actress, Australia Emma Lee Bunton, singer "Spice Girls", UK Andrea Parker, actress "The pretender", USA Alicia Witt, actress, USA  Carmen Electra, actress/TV host, USA Shana Moakler, actress "Pacific blue", USA Comments, nominations, etc. are as always welcome. Just remember that a nomination such as "Ms. x should be in because of er big hooters" hardly will be taken seriously. Until next month, / Mauvaise Honte
