The list is as usual based on qualities such as beauty, sex
appeal, charisma, intelligence, resent efforts and charm.
Although it may not seem so, the list is based on a European
perspective of things.
 
Newcomers in this months chart:

- Pamela Anderson, well what can I say? This list would loose
  all credibility if it didn't admit that Pam is one of the
  most popular women of this planet right now and she has in
  deed have had one of her best months in Europe. Her appearance
  in Cannes could be seen in news shows all over Europe and
  the new H&M bathing suit campaign with Pam in bathing suits
  on bill boards all over North Europe has also been giving her lots
  of publicity. Personally, I still don't see what all the fuzz
  is all about.

- Sandra Bullock, it may seem a little late for her to enter the
  chart now, but she has up to now not really been much of a star
  outside of the US (this is a European list).

- Elizabeth Hurley, actress and model, going steady with Hugh Grant.

- Lynette Walden, an actress who deserves a whole lot better than
  the parts she has been getting (as Alison's sister in MP and as
  the host of that film noir series, Fallen Angels, not to mention 
  the B-movies).

- Cia Berg, singer in Whale has certainly come a long way since
  she, just like Courtney Love, started out as a stripper. She
  is a singer, a radio host, she used to have her own TV show and
  is also an actress. In Europe and USA she is probably most famous
  for wearing braces and showing her underwear in a video clip though.
  Whale is at the moment on a tour in Sweden.
  
Movers:

- The new number 1 is Elle McPherson and she has certainly 
  deserved it.

- Geena Davis is currently cast in a pirate movie where she
  is to play an action hero of the sort that Arnold, Bruce and
  Sly normally plays. Husband Renny is directing and the result
  could be very interesting. An action heroin with intelligence,
  now that's new...

- Andie McDowell is starring in a new movie directed by Diane
  Keaton and appeared at the Cannes Film Festival.

- Sophie B Hawkins moves up. After seeing her in person, I must
  say that she is a truly fascinating person.
