Although it may not seem so, THE LIST IS BASED ON A EUROPEAN PERSPECTIVE OF THINGS. Newcomers in this months chart: - Cybill's back! Cybill may be well over 40, but does still look great. She also has a great sense of humour, so what more could you ask for? - Angela Bassett is one of the hottest movie star in the business at the moment. She was apparently the only good thing about "Waiting to exhale", a movie that should be avoided. - Jennifer Jason-Leigh is one of those rare REAL actresses that you can find in Hollywood. See her in "Georgia" as the self destructive Sadie. - Mädchen Amich has found her way back to the little screen again. We all remember her as Shelly in "Twin Peaks", but then she did not get any good roles until last year when she got the leading role in "Central Park West", yet another Darren Starr soap. Hopefully, CBS has not cancelled the show yet. - Salma Hayek become famous when she starred in "Desperado", that Antonio Banderas movie. A mexican woman now working in the US. - America's biggest pig, Rosanne's ex Tom Arnold really made a fool of himself when he said that his co-presenter of a Golden Globe award wasn't that good at talking. Everybody who has seen more than 5 minutes of an episode of "Lois & Clark" knows that Teri Hatcher is very good at talking and that she is far more intelligent than Mr. Oink Oink Arnold. Movers: - This month's list is very much dominated by USA. 8 out of the 10 top ten women are from USA and all newcomers but one are from US. - I really thought that Jen Aniston should slip down from the #1 spot, but then I saw the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine, so I guess she'll have to stay there another month. - Elisabeth Shue is the best climber this month. She is nominated for an Oscar for best actress and she should win it, but unfortunately there is some stiff competition this year (Susan Sarandon, Sharon Stone, Meryl Streep and Emma Thompson are all also nominated). - I guess it is kind of Christmas season for Alanis Morissette right now, at least if she likes to get music awards. She has received many nominations, but how many awards will she get? Almost made it into the list (we'll see next month): - Kristin Davis (Brooke Armstrong Cambell) and Marcia Cross, stars in "Melrose Place". - Sheila Kelley, once a lawyer in L.A. law, will hopefully break out of the TV biz and start working full time with movies. - Fran Drescher, our favourite nanny. - Melissa Errico, Alex Bartoli in "Central Park West". Comments, nominations, etc. are as always welcome. Just remember that a nomination such as "Ms. x should be in because of her big hooters" hardly will be taken seriously.
