Episode #762- Monday, January 17

SCENE 1- SAN DIEGO- PAULA AND ELAINE’S HOME

PAULA: Ricardo, can I ask you something? Have you ever forgiven me for what happened. You lost complete trust in me, and I haven’t really gotten over it.

RICARDO: Of course, I have. I forgave you a long time ago.

Paula smiles and Ricardo smiles back.

PAULA: It’s really great to see you.

RICARDO: You, too.

They move forward to hug; Gabi is outside about to come in the door.

SCENE 2- BRAD’S HOUSE

Amy and Brad are in bed together.

AMY: I can’t believe it. We didn’t it again.

BRAD: Yeah, we did. And I’m loving it!

AMY: Brad, please. (pause) Someday, Sean is going to sleep with me again. And I won’t have to give him a love potion either.

BRAD: Would you forget about Sean?

AMY: Oh my god, Brad! What if Sean doesn’t get out of the fire!?

SCENE 3- BETTE’S BEACH HOUSE

A bunch of firemen and police hold a blanket for Sean and Emily to jump unto; Emily jumps down first and she goes over to Bette and hugs her. Upstairs, Sean realizes that he doesn’t have much time because the fire is getting closer and closer. Suddenly the fire comes into the room and Sean begins to choke and falls to the floor. Outside, you can no longer see Sean in the window.

EMILY: Sean! No! No!

BETTE: Emily, everything will be all right! I promise!

Upstairs, Sean is unconscious and lying on the ground. The fire is approaching him…

SCENE 4- MARIA’S BEACH HOUSE

Maria is asleep alone on the couch. She uses her hand to find Ross, but he is not there. She raises her head and realizes that Ross is gone.

MARIA: What is going on here?

SCENE 5- COUNTY PRISON

ROSS: The plan is going along perfectly. Maria doesn’t suspect a thing.

TESS: Oh, it better be. It better be.

ROSS: Don’t worry, everything is under control.

TESS: You know, Ross. I can’t believe that everything is finally coming together. I will have my son back and Maria won’t know what hit her.

ROSS: Ben and Meg are coming back tomorrow tonight, so we have to move quickly.

TESS: I have figured it all out, and we will be gone before they get back.

RICARDO: Gabi.

GABI: What are you doing here, Ricardo?

RICARDO: I came to see you.

GABI: Really? How did you find me?

RICARDO: Elaine told me that you were here.

GABI: Oh.

PAULA: I’ll just leave you two alone.

GABI: That’s not necessary. We don’t have anything to talk about.

RICARDO: Gabi –

PAULA: I’ll go.

AMY: We have to get over there, Brad.

BRAD: What are you crazy?

AMY: No, I have to make sure that Sean is okay.

BRAD: If you go over there now, they might figure out that you lit the fire. Though, I’m sure the cops I’ll figure it out sooner or later.

AMY: Oh my god! I could go to prison!

BRAD: I could for being an accomplice!

AMY: What are we going to do?

TESS: I would love to see the look on Maria’s face if she ever found out who you are.

ROSS: It would be priceless. For her to know that she just slept with-

TESS (interrupting): You slept with her?!

ROSS: Well, she is a beautiful woman.

TESS: She’s a monster!

ROSS: But still –

TESS: Ross, I can’t believe that you would do that! I never told you to sleep with her, just wine and dine her a little.

ROSS: Don’t you think Maria will feel even worse when she figures it all out?

TESS: But she won’t. She’ll just know that her son is gone and that you took him.

ROSS: But I think she’ll figure that you’re involved once she finds out that you escaped from prison.

TESS: Yes, speaking of which, how do you plan to get me out of here?

ROSS: Don’t worry, I have a plan.

TESS: Whenever, you say that something goes wrong.

ROSS: Not to worry, everything will be just fine.

TESS: This better all come to plan- or else.

Commercial

ANNIE: Are you all right?

BETTE: Annie!

ANNIE: I came over because Jude called me and told me that your place was on fire. I called A.J. He should be here any minute.

BETTE: Thanks, poopsy. Don’t worry, we’re fine.

EMILY: And hopefully Sean will be, too.

Jude walks over to Ruiz.

JUDE: Is everyone out of the house?

RUIZ: Sean Richards is still inside. But the firefighters are still trying to get him out.

SPENCER: Don’t worry, I think that we’ll get him out.

JUDE: We better.

EMILY: Sean! Is he okay?!

FIREFIGHTER: He’s unconscious. Quick! Get him in the ambulance.

Bette and Annie walk over to Emily.

BETTE: Don’t worry, Ems. Sean will be okay.

A.J.: Bette! Are you okay?

BETTE: I’m fine. Sean and Emily were in the house. Sean is on his way to the hospital.

EMILY: He’s unconscious.

A.J.: Did you call Olivia?

BETTE: No, but I will right now.

A.J.: I’ll do that now.

BETTE: Come on, let’s get over to the hospital.

Annie walks over to Jude.

ANNIE: I’m going to the hospital with Bette and Emily.

JUDE: Ok, I have to finish up some things here, and then I will be there.

ANNIE: Ok.

MARIA (voiceover): Where could have Ross gone? This is so weird.

There is a knock at the door; Maria gets up to answer it; she opens the door to find Ross holding a bouquet of gardenias.

MARIA: Ross!

ROSS: Here, I know that they are your favorite.

Maria hugs Ross, who has an evil smile on his face.

SCENE 11- SAN DIEGO- PAULA AND ELAINE’S HOME

GABI: Ok, what do you have to say?

RICARDO: Gabi, I still love you. I want you to come home.

GABI: After everything that happened?

Camera flashes to Paula spying through the window.

RICARDO: Yes, after everything that happened. I’m sorry for what I did.

GABI: I’m sorry to for what I did.

RICARDO: Then, will you please come back to Sunset Beach with me?

GABI: Yes! I will! I love you, Ricardo.

RICARDO: I love you too.

FIREFIGHTER: The chief seems to think that the fire started in the garage. And it wasn’t an accident.

JUDE: Oh?

TESS: By this time, I will have my son back in my arms, and we will off to a place where Maria, Ben or Meg could never find us.

SCENE 1- SOUTH BAY GENERAL HOSPITAL

It is early in the morning; Olivia, Caitlin, Bette, Emily, Annie and A .J. are gathered in the waiting room waiting for word about Sean.

OLIVIA: Why can’t they tell us anything! It’s been several hours!

CAITLIN: Don’t worry, Mom. I’m sure that everything will be fine.

OLIVIA: I hope so, darling.

BETTE: Livvy, you know how tough Sean is. He will get through this.

Amy and Brad walk into the hospital and overhear.

AMY: What happened to Sean?!

Emily stands up angrily.

EMILY: Get the hell out of here! This is none of your business!

AMY: Sean’s hurt, isn’t it?

OLIVIA: Yes, he was hurt in that dreadful fire.

AMY: Oh my god, this is all my fault!

Gabi and Ricardo are making love; Paula comes out of her room and opens the door to the guest room where Gabi and Ricardo are staying; she opens the door and is horrified to see them making love.

SCENE 3- SURF CENTRAL

Sara and Casey are lying in bed.

SARA: Well, I know it’s early, but I can’t sleep. I think that we should get up.

CASEY: Do you?

SARA: Yes, I do.

CASEY: I say that we stay in bed for a while.

SARA: Whatever for?

CASEY: For this.

Casey and Sara kiss and begin to make love.

SCENE 4- VANESSA’S APARTMENT

VANESSA: I thought that we would never get off that plane.

MICHAEL: I know. That was the most horrible flight that I have ever been on.

VANESSA: I know. Well, I better check our messages. (she looks at the message). Wow, we have over ten messages.

MICHAEL: Really?

VANESSA: Did you hear that? Meg and Ben went to Venice!

MICHAEL: Wow.

THE MACHINE: (Meg’s voice): Well, I will talk to you both when we’re back in Sunset Beach. Bye. Second message: (Lena’s voice): Vanessa, this is your mother. I just wanted to tell you that your father and I have finally reunited and we are back in Buffalo, and we are going to be moving to New York very soon. I hope that you are pleased. We’ll talk to you soon!

VANESSA: I’m so glad that they are back together!

VANESSA: Oh wow. I can’t believe this.

OPENING CREDITS

SCENE 5- SOUTH BAY GENERAL HOSPITAL

EMILY: What are you talking about, Amy?

AMY: Nothing.

OLIVIA: Yes, dear, I would really like to know why this is all your fault.

AMY: If I hadn’t have shown up at the Shockwave, Sean and Emily might still have been there and Sean would be okay.

EMILY: Amy, it’s not your fault. Now please leave. I don’t think that Sean would want you here.

AMY: Yes he would! Sean cares about me!

EMILY: Not anymore.

BRAD: Come on, Amy. Let’s just go.

AMY: No! I have to see how Sean is first!

RAE: I think I can give you all that answer.

OLIVIA: Oh, Dr. Chang. How is Sean?

RAE: Well, he’s conscious. But he’s asleep. He needs his rest. He is severely burned on his legs, arms and face. Plus there is also another complication.

OLIVIA: Like what?

RAE: He may have suffered some damage to his eyes.

EMILY: What?

AMY: No!

RAE: I’m sorry, but I have to run some tests in order to know. I will keep you posted.

Caitlin comforts Olivia.

CAITLIN: Don’t worry, Mom. Sean will be fine.

OLIVIA: How can I not worry! Sean might never be able to see again!

BETTE: Don’t say that, Livvy. Everything will be fine.

A.J.: Bette’s right.

CAITLIN: I’m going to call Cole to check on Trey and tell him what’s going on.

OLIVIA: All right, darling.

Emily collapses to her chair worried sick about Sean; Bette goes over to comfort her while A.J. stays with Olivia.

Annie grabs Amy and takes her to the corner of the room.

ANNIE: So tell me, Amy, what did you have to do with all of this?

Amy looks as though she has been found out.

SCENE 6- SAN DIEGO- PAULA AND ELAINE’S HOME

SCENE 7- SURF CENTRAL

SARA: Well.

CASEY: Well, what?

SARA: Well, maybe now we should get up.

CASEY: Well, first there is something we need to talk about.

SARA: Oh?

CASEY: Our wedding.

SARA: Yeah?

CASEY: When do you want to have it?

SARA: Well, I have always wanted to be a June bride.

CASEY: I don’t know if I can wait that long.

SARA: Ok. Easter.

CASEY: No.

SARA: March.

CASEY: I was thinking Valentine’s Day.

SARA: Valentine’s Day? That is not that far away. I mean, there is so much to do.

CASEY: I think that we can handle it. I checked. The mission is available on Valentine’s Day. It’s a Monday. You don’t care if we get married on a Monday, do you?

SARA: That doesn’t matter to me at all. As long as we are getting married. Valentine’s Day it is.

CASEY: All right.

Sara and Casey kiss.

SCENE 8- VANESSA’S APARTMENT

MICHAEL: The New York Times, huh?

VANESSA: Yeah.

MICHAEL: When did this happen?

VANESSA: A while ago. I applied last winter after my miscarriage. When we were apart.

MICHAEL: I see.

VANESSA: But I’m not going to take it. My life is here with you.

MICHAEL: No, Vanessa. I think that you should go for it. I would love to live in New York. Plus, we’ll be near your parents.

VANESSA: That’s true. I would love to work at the Times. I’m going to give this woman a call.

MICHAEL: Ok.

Vanessa and Michael smile at each other.

SCENE 9- SAN DIEGO- PAULA AND ELAINE’S HOME

Paula is sitting on the couch still upset about Ricardo and Gabi, when Gabi walks in.

GABI: Paula?

PAULA: Good morning.

GABI: Good morning. Is there coffee?

PAULA: Yeah. Where’s Ricardo?

GABI: He’s in the shower.

PAULA: Oh. So when are you guys heading back to Sunset Beach?

GABI: Probably this afternoon.

PAULA: Oh.

GABI: Is something wrong, Paula?

PAULA: No, I’m fine. Thanks.

GABI: Are you sure?

PAULA: I’m just great. Believe me.

AMY: What are you talking about, Annie?

ANNIE: I think that you had something to do with the fire.

AMY: You’re crazy.

ANNIE: No, you are. I know how desperate you are to snag Sean. Giving him a love potion –

AMY: Look who’s giving me lectures!

ANNIE: Amy, look. You are better off confessing now because Jude and the rest of the police are going to figure it out eventually.

ANNIE: Jude, hi. What’s going on?

JUDE: I have some news about the fire.

OLIVIA: Oh? What’s that?

JUDE: The fire was set by someone. It started in the garage when someone set poured gas all over the place and set the garage on fire.

JUDE: Now, we don’t know yet who did it. But it’s only a matter of time.

BRAD: I know who did it.

Vanessa walks into the living room very excited.

VANESSA: Michael, it looks like we’re moving!

MICHAEL: You got the job?

VANESSA: Yeah, I just called her and the position is still opened. But I have to start this Monday.

MICHAEL: Wow, that’s soon. How are we going to move there by Monday?

VANESSA: Well, we don’t have to take everything, and I’m sure that Casey will UPS us some of our things.

MICHAEL: I can’t believe it! New York!

VANESSA: New York! I have to call my parents and tell them the news!

PAULA: So, are you looking forward to going back to Sunset Beach, Gabi?

GABI: Absolutely.

PAULA: After everything that happened, I still miss it there. It’s my home. It’s where I grew up.

RICARDO: Yeah.

PAULA: I was wondering if I could go back with you guys. I want to check up on my mother and get her to come home.

GABI: Yeah, it would be great to have you along.

RICARDO: Sure.

PAULA: Great! I’ll go pack!

BRAD: I set the fire.

EMILY, BETTE, ANNIE, CAITLIN AND OLIVIA: You?!

BRAD: I didn’t mean to hurt anyone. I just didn’t want –

EMILY: You bastard! You could have killed me and Sean!

JUDE: Do you have any idea what the charges are for setting this fire?

BRAD: I think I do.

JUDE: I am going to take you down to the station for questioning. Are you admitting to setting the fire?

BRAD: Yes.

JUDE: Turn around.

Jude handcuffs Brad; Amy is extremely shocked and looks guilty.

JUDE: You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law...

ON THE JANUARY 19th EPISODE:

Rae gives more news about Sean’s condition.

Meg and Ben are on their way home.

Tess and Ross begin to put their plan into action.

Brad is questioned by Jude, who thinks that he is covering for someone.

Episode #764- Wednesday, January 19

SCENE 1- AIRPLANE

Meg and Ben are on a plane kissing.

MEG: It’s a shame our honeymoon had to end.

BEN: Well, why don’t we continue it when we get back to Sunset Beach?

MEG: Sounds good to me. I wonder when this plane is going to take off.

BEN: Soon, I’m sure.

MEG: This was one of the most wonderful times in my life. I love you, Ben Evans.

BEN: I love you too, Mrs. Evans.

IRIS: Rise and shine, Gregory!

GREGORY: Iris, what do you want?

IRIS: Well, I thought that your son, Sean was nearly killed in a fire at that Beach House that his girlfriend lives.

GREGORY: I could care less about Sean.

IRIS: Such harsh words about your own son.

GREGORY: I tried to love him, but he turned me away, now I could care less if he lives or dies.

IRIS: Even I don’t wish Olivia dead.

GREGORY: Aren’t you special, Iris?

IRIS: Well, I also stopped to let you know that the evidence has been stolen. The stupid police haven’t even figured it out yet.

GREGORY: Good, now nothing can get in our way.

ROSS: Don’t worry everyone is in place.

TESS: It better be. You have the disguise, right?

ROSS: In my car.

TESS: And you told Maria that you were going to pick up Benjy and Lisa from school?

ROSS: Yes.

TESS: This is perfect. Everyone is working out perfectly!

ANNIE: So, Amy. Brad said that he did it but I don’t think that is the whole story.

OLIVIA: For once, Annie, I agree with you. Do you mind telling us your part in this, Amy?

OPENING CREDITS

MEG: Well, we are on our way.

BEN: Yup.

MEG: So are you excited about going home?

BEN: I’m excited to see Benjy.

MEG: I’m sure that he’ll be happy to see you too.

TESS: I wish that I could see the look on Ben’s face when he realizes that he is never going to see Benjy again.

ROSS: By then, we’ll be off to Australia.

TESS: Right. We will be with our family again.

ROSS: I can’t wait to see Mom.

TESS: Me either. It’s been so long. I bet she would love to meet her grandchildren. My son and your daughter.

ROSS: It will nice to have the three of us together again, sis.

TESS: It will. I wish we could somehow let Maria know that we are brother and sister.

ROSS: Well, you neglected to tell her that your maiden name was English.

TESS: Derek got such a kick of that! I didn’t think that was important, anyway. Besides, Maria might have figured it if I had told her.

ROSS: True.

TESS: Now, get going. Go see Maria one last time. Then you know what to do.

ROSS: Ok.

AMY: This was just as much as a surprise to me as it was to all of you.

EMILY: I don’t believe that for a minute, Amy!

AMY: I had nothing to do with it! I’m innocent!

ANNIE: Please, you are about as innocent as O.J.!

OLIVIA: Or Lizzy Borden for that matter!

AMY: I don’t have to take this!

Commercial

JUDE: Brad, I just want to know why you set the fire!

BRAD: I love Emily. I couldn’t stand to let Sean have her.

JUDE: I don’t know if I believe that.

BRAD: Why wouldn’t you?

JUDE: I think that there is more to this than you are telling me.

BRAD: What do you mean?

JUDE: I think that you are covering for someone.

JUDE: Are you covering for someone?

GREGORY: Soon, everything that I have been hoping for will come true. Poor Olivia. I hate to hurt her this way, but it is the only way that I can get what I want.

IRIS: Well, I should go to the hospital for some moral support.

GREGORY: Good idea.

IRIS: I’ll be in touch.

MARIA: Ross!

ROSS: Hi, Maria. What’s going on?

MARIA: Not much.

ROSS: I told you that I was going to pick up the kids at schools today.

MARIA: Yes, you did.

ROSS: Well, I arranged for you to go to a spa this afternoon to relax.

MARIA: That sounds wonderful. I definitely could use an afternoon of relaxation.

ROSS: Great. Here is the information. I have to get going now. But I will see you later.

MARIA: Bye.

ROSS: Good-bye, Maria.

Ross then exits.

(Outside the door)

ROSS: Oh Maria, this will be the last time we’ll see each other.

Commercial

BRAD: No, I am not covering for anyone. I did it!

JUDE: It was that Amy girl, wasn’t it? She was involved? Wasn’t she!? Wasn’t she!?

BRAD: All right! Yes! It was all her idea. I tried to stop her.

JUDE: You’re free to go. It’s time to question Amy.

RAE: Everyone, I have something to tell you all.

OLIVIA: What is it? What’s going on, Dr. Chang?

CAITLIN: Please, don’t keep us in the dark.

RAE: The tests came back and it seems that there has been some bleeding inside Sean’s retina. He is blind right now, but there is a chance that he will be able to see again once the blood is reabsorbed and away from the retina.

OLIVIA: My son is blind?!

RAE: Temporary, most likely.

Everyone sighs and Amy overhears devastated. She runs off.

SCENE 12- SOUTH BAY- SEAN’S HOSPITAL ROOM

Sean is sleeping and Amy sneaks into the room and walks up to him.

AMY: Oh, Sean. I never meant for this to happen. I just couldn’t let you sleep with Emily again. I thought that I got over you, but I didn’t. I will always love you.

Sean opens his eyes

SEAN: It was you?! What’s going on! I can’t see! Oh, my god!

ON THE JANUARY 20th EPISODE:

Sean blames Amy for his predicament.

Jude arrives to arrest Amy.

Ben and Meg get back sooner than expected.

Vanessa and Michael say good-bye to their friends.

Episode #765- Wednesday, January 20

SCENE 1- VANESSA’S APARTMENT

Casey and Sara are helping Vanessa and Michael pack up.

CASEY: Don’t you guys want to rest up?

VANESSA: I’m just so excited that I can’t wait until we leave.

SARA: When do you leave?

VANESSA: Our flight is tonight.

MICHAEL: Wild, huh?

CASEY: Yeah, I still can’t believe it. I mean, you just got back from your honeymoon this morning.

VANESSA: I know. I was so exhausted when I got home, but I am wide-awake now.

MICHAEL: I could use a nap.

VANESSA: Oh, poor baby.

MICHAEL: Well, that’s about it.

SARA: Well, go get ready and Casey and I will drive you to the airport.

CASEY: And don’t worry, I will ship the rest of your stuff next week.

VANESSA: Great. Come on, Michael. Let’s get ready to go!

SCENE 2- SOUTH BAY GENERAL HOSPITAL

OLIVIA: I still can’t believe this.

CAITLIN: Don’t worry, Mom. I’m sure that Sean will get his sight back.

EMILY: This isn’t happening!

BETTE: It’s all right, sweetheart. Sean’s going to be fine.

RAE: Well, if you have any questions. I will be around for a little while.

OLIVIA: Thank you, Dr. Chang.

Iris walks up to Olivia.

IRIS: Oh, Olivia, I got here as soon as I heard. How’s Sean?

ANNIE: Who in the world are you?

BETTE: Really? Who are you, lady?

IRIS: I’m Iris Blake, Olivia’s mother.

Caitlin has a flashback of when Iris introduced herself as Iris Blake-Prentiss and is puzzled.

BETTE: Olivia, I thought your parents were dead.

OLIVIA: So did I.

A.J.: I can’t believe this.

ANNIE: Well, it’s a honor to meet the succubus that spawned Olivia.

BETTE: Annie! Ignore my niece.

IRIS: Caitlin, are you okay?

Caitlin is a little puzzled and gives Iris a look.

Scene changes to Sean’s hospital room.

Sean is sleeping and Amy sneaks into the room and walks up to him.

AMY: Oh, Sean. I never meant for this to happen. I just couldn’t let you sleep with Emily again. I thought that I got over you, but I didn’t. I will always love you.

Sean opens his eyes

SEAN: It was you?! What’s going on! I can’t see! Oh, my god!

Rae storms in.

RAE: Sean, are you all right?

SEAN: I can’t see. What’s going on, here?

RAE: Get her out of here! Sean, it’s okay. I’m going to give you a tranquilizer to relax you.

Amy is being removed from the room, but is resisting.

AMY: Sean! I’m so sorry!

SEAN: You did this! This is all your fault! I want you out of my life! I wish that you would just die!

Amy is devastated and begins to cry.

Before, Caitlin can answer, they hear all the commotion.

OLIVIA: What’s going on?

OPENING CREDITS

SCENE 3- L.A. X (AIRPORT)

Ben and Meg are walking off the plane from Venice.

BEN: I’m glad that we got back early.

MEG: Me, too.

BEN: I can’t wait to see Benjy. I think that I will surprise him, and pick him up from school.

MEG: That’s a great idea. I’ll go with you.

BEN: Great. Well, let’s go get our things and get out of here.

SCENE 4- SOUTH BAY

Olivia, Emily and Caitlin rush over to Sean’s room.

OLIVIA: Oh, Amy. I knew that you were off causing trouble. You have no place here!

EMILY: Get out of here!

AMY (sobbing): Sean hates me!

EMILY: Well, he certainly doesn’t like you very much. Now go!

Amy walks away crying hysterically; Rae come out of Sean’s room.

RAE: Sean is stabilized. You can go in and see him.

CAITLIN: Thank you, Dr. Chang.

Scene changes to the waiting area.

ANNIE: So, Iris, right? Where have you been since your apparent death?

IRIS: That’s none of your concern, Annie.

A.J.: Annie, just stay out of it.

ANNIE: Fine. Your daughter is quite a woman.

IRIS: Oh?

ANNIE: I’ve never met a real life Cruella de Ville before her. (noting Iris’ white fur coat) It looks like she takes after her mother. Don’t you know it’s not that cold out?

IRIS: I’ll wear what I choose, darling. I guess you are not one of my daughter’s biggest fans?

ANNIE: I guess you could say that. I despise, loathe and detest her.

IRIS (voiceover): This is good. She might be the one who can help me.

SCENE 5- L.A. X (AIRPORT)

Vanessa, Michael, Casey and Sara are walking through the airport when they spot Ben and Meg.

SARA: Look who it is!

CASEY AND MICHAEL: Hey!

VANESSA: Hi!

BEN: Hello.

MEG: Hi, guys.

They all exchange hugs and handshakes.

MEG: So where are you all off to?

VANESSA: Well, Michael and I are moving to New York City. I got a job offer there and I took it.

MEG: Vanessa, that’s wonderful! I’m sure going to miss you guys, though!

VANESSA: Me, too.

MICHAEL: Well, I’m glad that we got a chance to see you both before we left.

BEN: So are we.

MEG: Well, have a good trip. I’m going to miss both of you a lot!

Meg hugs Vanessa and Michael; Ben gives Vanessa a hug and shakes Michael’s hand; Sara and Vanessa hug.

CASEY: I’m sure going to miss you, man.

MICHAEL: Me, too. We’ve been through a lot together.

CASEY: We sure have.

MICHAEL: I love you, man.

CASEY: I love you, too.

Casey and Michael hug and then Michael goes to Vanessa and they walk away and wave good-bye; Ben, Meg, Casey and Sara walk in the other direction.

SCENE 6- COUNTY PRISON

Tess is disguised as a police officer and is sneaking out of prison; she goes outside and approaches Ross’ car and they drive off.

TESS: It worked! It worked!

ROSS: Yup.

TESS: Now, All we have to do is get Benjy and Lisa and we are off. I can’t wait to see my beautiful son again!

ROSS: Well, let’s get going before they realize that you are gone.

SCENE 7- BRAD’S HOUSE

Amy walks into her room at Brad’s house crying hysterically; no one is around; Brad seems to gone, and she remembers what Sean said to her earlier.

SCENE 8- SOUTH BAY GENERAL HOSPITAL

Olivia, Caitlin and Emily walk back into the waiting room.

BETTE: How’s Sean doing?

OLIVIA: As good as to be expected under the circumstances.

A.J.: I’m sure that he will be fine. It’s only a matter of time.

EMILY: It turns out that Amy was the one who set the fire. Brad only confessed to protect her, I guess.

JUDE: That’s what I just found out.

Emily turns around along with everyone else after hearing Jude’s voice.

JUDE: I got Brad to admit the truth. Do any of you know where I can find Amy Neilsen?

CAITLIN: She ran off a little while ago.

JUDE: All right, I’ll find her.

ANNIE: Jude, are you all right?

JUDE: I’m fine. Just a little tired.

ANNIE: I’ll see you at home later then, ok?

JUDE: Ok.

They kiss and Jude exits.

SCENE 9- SURF CENTRAL

SARA: I can’t believe that they are really gone.

CASEY: Me, either.

SARA: I know how close you and Michael were. This must be hard.

CASEY: I guess. But I’m sure we’ll be in touch with them.

SARA: You’re right.

CASEY: I have an idea that might cheer me up.

SARA: Oh?

CASEY: Why don’t we go upstairs.

SARA: I just bought some edible body paint.

Casey chases Sara up the stairs.

SCENE 10- BRAD’S HOUSE

Brad walks in Amy’s room to find her distressed.

BRAD: Amy, there’s something that I have to tell you.

AMY: Not now, Brad.

BRAD: I ended up telling the cops the truth.

AMY: That’s fine. I would rather go to jail then live my life. In fact, I’d rather die.

BRAD: Don’t say that.

AMY: It’s true.

BRAD: Look, Amy. I’m going to leave you alone for a little while.

AMY: Good. Go.

Brad leaves and Amy begins to cry again.

SCENE 11- SOUTH BAY GENERAL HOSPITAL

BETTE: Listen, there’s nothing we can do for Sean right now. Let’s all go home and get some rest.

ANNIE: Great idea, Aunt Bette.

A.J.: Come on, Emily.

EMILY: No, I’m not going anywhere!

OLIVIA: It’s all right. I’ll stay with Emily. You can all go.

CAITLIN: Mom, call me if there are any updates.

OLIVIA: I will.

They hug and Caitlin, Bette, Annie, and A.J. exit.

SCENE 12- BRAD’S HOUSE

Brad is about to walk out the door, but Jude is there.

JUDE: Where’s Amy, Brad?

Brad is silent.

Scene changes to outside where Amy is. She is crying by the pool.

SCENE 13- SUNSET BEACH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Ross, Benjy and Lisa are walking toward Ross’ car.

ROSS: Benjy, I have a surprise for you!

BENJY: Tess!

TESS: Hi, sweetheart. Get in the car.

Benjy and Lisa get in the car just as Ben and Meg approach and park a few feet behind Ross’ car; Ben gets out of his car.

BEN: Ross!

Ross is shocked to see Ben and Meg and runs to the front door. Meg notices that Tess is in the car.

MEG: Ben! It’s Tess!

Ben sees Tess and runs toward Ross’ car, but it has already taken off at high speed…

SCENE 14- BRAD’S HOUSE

Amy is still crying hysterically and she knocks her head on the side of the pool and falls into the water.

MARIA: Mama, it’s Tess. She escaped from prison. I have to get to Ross’ now and check on Benjy.

CARMEN: Oh, no, mija. I’ll go with you.

Maria shuts the door and they leave.

SCENE 6- RICARDO’S LOFT

RICARDO: So how does it feel to be home?

GABI: Pretty good, actually.

RICARDO: I’m glad to hear it. Nothing is ever going to stand between us again.

They kiss.

SCENE 7- ELAINE’S HOTEL ROOM

ELAINE: So what brings up to Sunset Beach?

PAULA: Well, I came to see you.

ELAINE: Oh?

PAULA: I was wondering if you were ever planning on coming home.

ELAINE: I’m not sure.

PAULA: Why is that?

ELAINE: Because I realize that I’m still very much in love with A.J.

PAULA: Mother-

ELAINE: I’m sorry. I can’t leave him. I will not rest until A.J. is mine again.

MEG: I can’t believe this!

BEN: Ross and Tess have been working together all this time?!

MEG: Hurry, Ben! We’re losing them!

TESS: Hurry, Ross! They are gaining on us! We can’t let them catch us!

ROSS: I’m going as fast as I can, Tess.

BENJY: Tess, what’s going on?

TESS: Don’t worry, honey. Everything will be fine.

BENJY: I want to go with Daddy and Meg.

TESS: Don’t you want to go with me, honey?

BENJY: Where are we going?

TESS: On an adventure?

BENJY: Like the one we were going to take before you went away?

TESS: Right.

BENJY: Ok.

LISA: It sounds like fun.

ROSS: It will be.

TESS: Your uncle Ross is right, sweetheart.

BENJY: Uncle Ross?

TESS: Yes, sweetie, Uncle Ross.

MARIA: What’s going on?

CARMEN: Oh mija, I know that something terrible has happened.

MARIA: NO!!!!!!

SCENE 10- BRAD’S HOUSE

JUDE: So where is she, Brad?

BRAD: Who?

JUDE: You know who I mean. Amy.

BRAD: She is not here.

JUDE: I am not buying it. Just save yourself some trouble and tell me where she is.

BRAD: She was upstairs the last time I saw her.

JUDE: Ok.

JUDE: She’s not here.

BRAD: Maybe she went out the window.

JUDE: Let’s get down there! NOW!

ELAINE: So it looks like I’m staying. What about you?

PAULA: Mom-

ELAINE: There’s something that you are not telling me, isn’t there?

PAULA: Well-

ELAINE: Go ahead, tell me.

PAULA: You know how you’re still in love with A.J., well, I’m still in love with Ricardo.

ELAINE: Oh, I see.

PAULA: Mom-

ELAINE: No, I understand.

PAULA: I want him back, Mom.

ELAINE: Well, then let’s make a deal. We are not leaving Sunset Beach until we get the men back that we want.

PAULA: It’s a deal.

GABI: I’m so glad to be home.

RICARDO: I’m glad you’re here.

CARMEN: Maria, what is it?

Maria hands Carmen the note and she is shocked after reading it.

CARMEN: Let’s go to the police!

MARIA: We have to tell Ben. I wonder if he and Meg are back yet.

CARMEN: Ok.

They leave and Maria is still crying.

SCENE 14- ON THE ROAD

Ben’s car has caught up to Ross’ car and Ben’s car bangs into Ross’. Ben then remembers that Benjy is in the car and that he can’t do that; Ross and Tess are headed for a rock, but Ross swerves around it just in time, however Ben loses control of the car and it hits the rock and flips over!

SCENE 15- BRAD’S HOUSE

Brad jumps in to rescue Amy; Jude helps him get Amy out; Brad performs mouth to mouth to save her

JUDE: Keep trying!

BRAD: I am!

Amy isn’t responding after several tries; Brad is not giving up, but Jude knows that the worst has happened…
