Episode #772- Monday, January 31

SPECIAL NOTE: I have received emails asking if these are the actual scripts that were written if Sunset Beach had not been canceled. No, they are not. They are merely fictional and I am not affiliated with Sunset Beach or NBC in any way at all.

NOTE: For storyline reasons, Antonio will written out until the February 4th episode, after which his return will be permanent.

SCENE 1- GRENADINE’S

(For some reason, I forgot to include this scene in the last episode, so here it is now.)

A.J. and Elaine are enjoying lunch together, Bette walks into the restaurant and is rather surprised to find them there.

BETTE: A.J., what is going on here?

A.J.: I was just having lunch with Elaine, so we could catch up on old times. Would you like to join us?

BETTE: Sure.

Elaine pretends to be delighted, but is not happy at all.

ELAINE’S VOICE: This was supposed to be my time with A.J. I am not going to let Bette ruin it. I have to get rid of her somehow.

SCENE 2- COUNTY PRISON

Gregory is sitting in his cell and Iris is standing there waiting for him to see her.

IRIS: Are we tired, Greggy?

GREGORY: Yes, I am, Iris! What’s it to you?

IRIS: Nothing really. I just came by to tell you that I was wrong, and that the evidence against you in the Francesca Vargas case somehow resurfaced.

GREGORY: What!! How could that have happened?! You hired that thug to steal it, right?

IRIS: Yes, but he didn’t steal the correct evidence and now that Patricia Steele has suddenly resigned, the evidence is locked up tight until they hire a new district attorney to look at it for the case.

GREGORY: Who is the new district attorney?

IRIS: Who knows?

GREGORY: You really screwed up, Iris! And you are going to pay the price!

IRIS’ VOICE: No, Gregory, the only one who is going to bloody pay is you and my darling daughter. Annie should be taking care of her job right now.

SCENE 3- THE RICHARDS HOME

Rose opens the door and it’s Annie.

ROSE: What do you want?

ANNIE: Rose, you really need to work on your etiquette. I’m here to see if I left some personal items here.

ROSE: Everyone is at the hospital and Mrs. Richards is sleeping. I don’t want to let you in!

ANNIE: Well, Rose. You are going to let me in!

Annie walks right past her and goes up the stairs.

SCENE 4- OUTSIDE SOUTH BAY

SARA: Remember how I was so insistent that I donate blood for Meg?

CASEY: Yes.

SARA: Well, it turns out that I can’t donate blood for Meg because our blood types don’t match.

CASEY: That’s possible.

SARA: You see, both my parents are the same blood types as Meg, which means that I would have the same blood type too. And I don’t because I’m adopted.

Casey looks stunned and Rae comes out of the hospital just as Sara drops the bombshell.

OPENING CREDITS

SCENE 5- SOUTH BAY GENERAL HOSPITAL

Emily, Caitlin and Cole are visiting Sean in his room.

EMILY: So how are you feeling?

SEAN: Better, I guess. I just wish that I had my sight back.

CAITLIN: It will come in time.

COLE: Caitlin’s right. Just give it some time.

SEAN: I guess. Is Mom still here?

CAITLIN: No, she went home to take a nap. She was exhausted, so I told her that we would come and visit you.

SEAN: Oh.

COLE: So, Sean, is everything ok? If you don’t mind my asking, how do you feel now that Amy is gone?

BRAD: I’d like to know the answer to that myself.

Everyone turns around after hearing Brad’s voice.

SCENE 6- THE RICHARDS HOME- OLIVIA’S BEDROOM

Annie sneaks into Olivia’s room; Olivia is sleeping silently in her bed.

ANNIE (talking to herself): It’s good that Olivia sleeps like a log. All I have to do is get the information that Iris needs and I am out of here.

Annie begins poking around and looking through drawers; behind her, Olivia awakens and sees Annie looking through her things.

OLIVIA: Annie, what the hell do you think you are doing?!

SCENE 7- OUTSIDE SOUTH BAY GH

RAE: I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt.

SARA: Yeah, well get out of here! I am trying to talk to my fiancé!

RAE: Of course.

Rae hastily exits, but she hides and is eavesdropping from a corner.

CASEY: I can’t believe this! You’re adopted!

SARA: Apparently my mother had a sister that I never knew about and she died when she gave birth to me, so they adopted me and raised me as their own.

CASEY: Wow, Sara. I am so sorry.

SARA: They were never going to tell me the truth, Casey. Never!

CASEY: I think that they shouldn’t have. Parents shouldn’t lie to their children. Honestly, that angers me more than anything.

SARA: Me too. (pause, beginning to sob) Casey, just hold me please.

Casey holds Sara in his arms and reassures her.

SCENE 8- COUNTY PRISON

IRIS: I did everything that I could, Gregory, but if all else fails, you’ll just have to find a way out yourself and then we can take off with Trey, Caitlin and all of Olivia’s money.

GREGORY: But I have to be acquitted due to the evidence missing!

IRIS: Does that really matter in the long run!

GREGORY: I don’t have any money anymore! I used it all in the Tobias scam, which of course failed.

IRIS: Well, as I recall, you came to me for help and I turned you down because it sounded utterly ridiculous and I knew that it wouldn’t work!

GREGORY: It would have if I had realized sooner that Jude Cavanaugh worked for the FBI.

IRIS: Actually, he is the head detective on the SBPD now.

GREGORY: That doesn’t sound encouraging, Iris.

IRIS: Well, don’t worry, Gregory. Everything will work out.

Iris walks out.

GREGORY: Oh, it better, Iris. It better.

SCENE 9- SOUTH BAY- SEAN’S ROOM

SEAN: Brad? What are you doing here?

BRAD: I came to talk to you. I wanted to explain to you what happened to Amy, but I guess that you already heard.

EMILY: I told him, Brad.

BRAD: I see. So, Richards, how do you feel now that the girl that worshipped you is now out of your life?

SEAN: Of course, I don’t feel great about it. I’m sorry that she is gone.

BRAD: No, you are not. None of you are! I was the only one that cared about her!

COLE: Brad, I really think that you need to get out of here and calm down.

BRAD: No, I am not going to calm down!

COLE: Let’s go.

Cole escorts Brad out.

CAITLIN: Sean, don’t worry about Brad.

SEAN: Trust me, I am not.

SCENE 10- THE RICHARDS HOME- OLIVIA’S ROOM

ANNIE: I was looking for some of my things that I left here, and I couldn’t find them, so I thought that maybe you took them.

OLIVIA: Please, Annie. I want none of your scantily clad clothing or your tacky jewelry. Anything you left, I put in the bloody garbage!

ANNIE: Olivia! Those were my valuables!

OLIVIA: Well, I guess what they say is true: One woman’s trash is another woman’s treasure. But you’re trash and I have the treasure!

ANNIE’S VOICE: Not for long, Olivia.

ANNIE: Don’t even bring that up.

OLIVIA: What that your father never loved you and left all his money to me.

ANNIE: I am not in the mood to talk about my father.

OLIVIA: I know that you are up to something, Annie. I just haven’t figured out what it is yet.

ANNIE: When you do, just let me know.

OLIVIA: One day, Annie, you are going to go to hell and Del will be waiting there with open arms!

ANNIE: If you say so.

Annie opens and the door and slams it and walks out. She is now leaning against the door.

ANNIE (talking to herself): What if I do go to hell? What would that be like?

Annie has a fantasy: There is steam everywhere and Annie is walking towards a blaze of fire. Del is standing there with a cigar in his mouth.

DEL: Welcome, Annie.

ANNIE: Daddy?

DEL: Welcome to hell.

ANNIE: So I really had to come here.

DEL: You sure do. Now here’s a shovel. Get to work! But don’t worry, you won’t be lonely. There are all kinds of friends here to keep you company.

Eddie walks in with a shovel in his hand.

ANNIE: Eddie?! Well, I am not surprised that you ended up here.

EDDIE: Yeah, well. I’m here, and now you are too! You are going to love hell.

ANNIE: I doubt that.

Francesca enters.

FRANCESCA: No, really, Annie. It’s really great here.

ANNIE: Francesca, don’t you look slutty as usual.

FRANCESCA (laughing): You were always a bigger slut than I was. I never had sex at all during my stay in Sunset Beach. But I would have had Cole if Gregory hadn’t killed me.

ANNIE: You keep telling yourself that.

FRANCESCA: Well, Annie. Look at you, all ready for work. Maybe I could give you some tips on how to maintain your nails, but it’s pretty damn hard to do here, (grabbing Annie’s hand) and with your nails, it will be nearly impossible.

ANNIE (throwing her hand back): Don’t touch me!

TIM: Oh, Annie?!

ANNIE: Tim? What are you doing here?

TIM: Well, I died, remember?

ANNIE: Right. I forgot for a minute, how did you end up here?

TIM: Because of you and Tess! You both dragged me into your schemes and look where it got me!

ANNIE: Yeah, well, I’m here now, so I’m being punished enough here.

FRANCESCA: Not yet, Annie. You are going to be tortured here, by all of us. It is going to be so much fun!

DEL: Hell, it’s going to be a lot of fun.

EDDIE: Count me in.

Eddie, Francesca, Del and Tim all lunge toward Annie, who begins to scream.

Annie is no longer in the fantasy, and flashes out.

ANNIE: Boy, and I thought that my fantasizing days were over! There is no way in hell that I am going to end up there with those losers!

SCENE 11- GRENADINE’S

ELAINE: Would you excuse me, please.

A.J.: Sure.

ELAINE: I’ll be back in a minute.

Elaine walks out and goes up to a payphone; she dials and the phone rings.

MAITRE D’: Grenadine’s. How may I help you?

ELAINE: Yes, I am calling from the Sentinel. Is Bette Katzen- whatever there?

MAITRE D’: I believe she is.

ELAINE: Will you please tell her to come to work immediately.

MAITRE D’: I will give her the message.

ELAINE: Thank you.

Elaine watches as the maitre d’ gives Bette the message and Bette then kisses A.J. good-bye and leaves.

ELAINE: Mission Accomplished.

Elaine walks back to the table delighted with herself.

SCENE 12- THE RICHARDS HOME

Annie is walking down the stairs and then towards the door, and she opens it and Iris is in front of her.

IRIS: Well?

Annie pushes her and then closes the front door behind her.

ANNIE: I couldn’t get it. Olivia caught me.

IRIS: Damn it!

ANNIE: I’m sorry, but don’t worry we will get it.

IRIS: You’re right. Let’s get out of here!

ANNIE: I’m right behind you.

The camera moves up to Olivia’s bedroom window; she is looking down and wonders why Annie and her mother are talking.

SCENE 13- SURF CENTRAL

Casey and Sara walk in the door, and Sara still looks very upset. Casey carries her up to bed.

CASEY: Are you going to be ok?

SARA: I think so. I just need to be alone.

CASEY: Call me if you need anything.

SARA: I will.

Casey exits and Sara lies on her bed and thinks about memories with her parents and Meg in Sunset Beach.

SARA (crying): I can’t believe this….

ON THE FEBRUARY 1ST EPISODE:
Ben and Meg are released from the hospital.
Meg wants to join Ben and Maria on the search for Benjy.
Ricardo confronts Paula.
Ricardo and Paula decide to work together to find Gabi’s stalker.
Casey turns to Rae for support when Sara begins to push Casey away.


Episode #773- Tuesday, February 1

CAST: ANNIE, BEN, CASEY, GABI, HANK, JOAN, JUDE, MARIA, MEG, OLIVIA, PAULA, RAE, RICARDO, SARA.

SCENE 1- SURF CENTRAL

It is a new day in Sunset Beach, and Casey is sitting on the couch, worried about Sara; he is reading the newspaper but his mind is distracted; there is a knock at the door and he goes up to get it; it’s Joan and Hank. No words are spoken as Casey turns around to see that Sara has come down the stairs.

SCENE 2- SOUTH BAY GENERAL HOSPITAL

Ben and Meg walk out of their hospital rooms, and are relieved to be getting out of there; Maria comes up to them.

MARIA: I’m glad to see that you are both being released.

MEG: Yeah, so are we.

BEN: What are you doing here, Maria?

MARIA: Well, I wanted to see if you needed anything and I wanted to talk a little bit more about what we are going to do about Benjy.

MEG: Maria, we just got out of the hospital. We’re all concerned about Benjy, but we are taking this one step at a time.

MARIA: I’m sorry.

BEN: Look, we’ll talk about Benjy when we get home, ok?

MARIA: All right.

BEN: Let’s get out of here.

SCENE 3- ANNIE AND JUDE’S APARTMENT

Annie and Jude are making love. They finish and Annie has a huge smile on her face.

ANNIE: That was incredible.

JUDE: It sure was.

ANNIE: I can’t believe that I have such an incredible man in my life.

JUDE: You’re pretty incredible yourself.

ANNIE: Aw, thanks.

JUDE: I really believe that you have finally mended your ways.

ANNIE’S VOICE: If you knew what I was up to with Iris, you may not say that.

SCENE 4- RICARDO’S LOFT

Ricardo and Gabi are sitting eating breakfast when they hear a knock at the door.

RICARDO: Come in!

GABI: Ricardo, what if it’s the stalker?

Paula enters.

RICARDO: It’s not. It’s Paula.

GABI: Hey, Paula.

PAULA: Hi.

She sits down with them.

RICARDO: So congratulations on the job at the police station.

PAULA: Thank you.

RICARDO: Were you aware that I was going to try and get that job?

PAULA: No, I wasn’t. Gabi didn’t tell me until I told her that I got the job yesterday.

RICARDO: I see.

GABI: I’ll be right back. Bathroom.

Gabi exits.

RICARDO (angrily): What the hell is going on here, Paula?!

OPENING CREDITS

SCENE 5- SURF CENTRAL

SARA: What are you doing here?

HANK: We came to check on you, sweetheart.

SARA: Thank you for your concern, but you are not my parents.

JOAN: That’s not true! We are your parents!

SARA: Not anymore.

Joan begins crying, and Hank looks very hurt.

HANK: Sara, you are our daughter. We love you very much.

SARA: You have to make a promise to me, right here. Right now.

Joan, Hank and Casey look at Sara wondering what she is going to say.

SCENE 6- ANNIE AND JUDE’S APARTMENT

Annie and Jude are both out of bed; Annie is in her bathrobe, while Jude is getting dressed.

JUDE: So what are you going to do today? Find a job?

ANNIE: Please. That’s the last thing on my mind.

JUDE: Annie, you really need to find a job.

ANNIE: I know, but I have a feeling that I am not going to need one soon.

JUDE: Oh, do you think that you are going to win the lottery?

ANNIE: Maybe.

JUDE: Annie, go out and find a job, please. For me?

ANNIE: I’ll try, but I am not making any promises.

JUDE: Ok.

Jude kisses Annie and walks to the door.

JUDE: Bye.

ANNIE: Bye.

Jude exits and Annie smiles.

ANNIE: The day I get a job is the day Aunt Bette joins the nunnery.

There is a knock at the door; Annie walks to it and opens it; it’s Olivia.

OLIVIA: I need answers, Annie, and you are going to give them to me, right now.

Annie wonders what Olivia is talking about and is a little anxious.

SCENE 7- RICARDO’S LOFT

PAULA: What are you talking about Ricardo?

RICARDO: I thought that you were visiting and now you are staying?

PAULA: My mother decided to stay and I have to keep an eye on her.

RICARDO: I see.

PAULA: Why else do you think that I am staying?

RICARDO: I don’t know.

PAULA: Is it because you are afraid that you still have feelings for me?

SCENE 8- SURF CENTRAL

SARA: You all must promise me that no one else ever learns of my adoption- not Meg, no one. It is strictly between the four of us. I don’t want anyone else to know.

JOAN: If that’s what you want, Sara.

SARA: It is. Now I am going to go walk on the beach.

CASEY: Sara-

SARA: Stay away from me. I need to be alone right now.

Casey is a little hurt, and Sara walks out the door.

CASEY: Are you happy now?

HANK: What?

CASEY: Sara is growing very distant from all of us. How could this have happened?

JOAN: We had to tell her the truth, we never wanted to.

CASEY: You shouldn’t have lied to her, Joan.

HANK: We didn’t lie.

CASEY: But you didn’t tell her the truth! Why don’t you both just leave.

HANK: Fine. Let’s go, Joany.

Joan and Hank exit and Casey is a little angry; A few seconds later, there is a knock on the door and Casey opens it to Rae.

SCENE 9- BEN AND MEG’S BEACH HOUSE

Meg, Ben and Maria all walk through the door.

BEN: I can’t believe that Bette’s house burned down.

MEG: I know! There was nothing left of it.

MARIA: And poor Sean is blind- temporarily anyway.

MEG: I heard. That’s horrible, and then that Amy girl died. Boy was she a pain in the – well, you know on the island.

BEN: Maria, I know that you are worried about Benjy. But I am going to hire a private detective to figure out where Tess and Ross took him, and then go from there.

MARIA: Ok. I know of a good private detective- Pete Valente.

MEG: Isn’t that the guy you hired when you tried to convince us that you had your memory back?

MARIA: Yes, but give him a call. He would be great.

BEN: I will. Thank you.

MEG: I know that we will find him.

MARIA: We will. I don’t think that you need to be accompanying us. You are not his mother.

MEG: Maria, I was planning on coming along.

MARIA (angrily): Benjy is not your son. You shouldn’t assume that you are invited.

MEG: Maria-

BEN: Maria, Meg is coming and that is final!

MARIA: Fine. I am going to Mama’s. See you later.

Maria exits and Ben gives Meg a hug.

SCENE 10- RICARDO’S LOFT

RICARDO: You think that I still have feelings for you?!

PAULA: Well, don’t you?

Gabi walks back in and interrupts them before Ricardo can answer.

GABI: What were you two talking about?

PAULA: Nothing really. I have to go now. But I will see you later.

GABI: Bye.

Paula walks out the door, and shuts it behind her.

PAULA: Ricardo does have feelings for me. He always will. He just can’t admit it right now. I have to do everything that I can to win him back.

SCENE 11- ANNIE AND JUDE’S APARTMENT

ANNIE: I don’t know what you are talking about, Olivia.

OLIVIA: Well, let me tell you. I saw you and my mother talking outside my house yesterday. Very intently, I might add.

ANNIE: Did you?

OLIVIA: Do you mind telling me what the hell is going on?

ANNIE: Nothing. All I did was tell her how much I hate you.

OLIVIA: Oh really.

ANNIE: She wondered why, and I told her the whole story.

OLIVIA: Really? I am not buying it, Annie. What are you up to?

SCENE 12- SURF CENTRAL

CASEY: Rae, what are you doing here?

RAE: You seemed upset when I saw you yesterday. I was worried about you.

CASEY: Well, thank you, but I’m fine.

RAE: No, you’re not. You can talk to me, Casey. We used to talk all the time.

CASEY: That was a long time ago.

RAE: Have you forgotten what it was like, Casey? To be so close to one another.

Rae moves closer and wraps her arms around Casey.

RAE: It’s been so long since I kissed you that I can’t remember what it was like.

Rae moves closer and their lips begin to meet; Outside, Sara walks up to the door and is about to open the door…

Episode #774- Wednesday, February 2

CAST: A.J., ANNIE, BEN, BENJY, BETTE, BRAD, CAITLIN, CASEY, COLE, EMILY, JOAN, JUDE, LISA, MEG, OLIVIA, RAE, ROSS, SARA, SEAN, TESS.

MINOR CAST: CLAUDINE ENGLISH, FATHER TONY CLEMENS, PETE VALENTE.

SCENE 1- ST. JOSEPH'S MISSION

Bette and A.J. are walking into the church, and see Brad talking to Jude; Caitlin and Cole are sitting and talking; there are very few people there at Amy’s funeral just a few classmates; behind Bette and A.J., Emily wheels Sean, who is wearing glasses and is in a wheelchair into the church.

BETTE: Well, this should be interesting.

A .J.: It should.

SEAN: I hate this wheelchair! I can walk!

EMILY: Sean, Dr. Chang said that it’s not a good idea unless you want a seen-eyed dog. Calm down, you just got out of the hospital this morning.

SEAN: I know. I guess that it is for the best.

Caitlin and Cole walk up to Sean.

CAITLIN: Sean, how are you feeling?

SEAN: Fine I guess.

COLE: Why don’t you all come sit with us.

They all take their seats, and Brad gives them all an angry look.

SCENE 2- BEN AND MEG’S BEACH HOUSE

Ben is on the phone.

BEN: May I speak with Pete Valente, please?

Scene changes to Pete’s office.

PETE: Pete Valente.

BEN: Mr. Valente, this is Ben Evans.

PETE: Hello, Mr. Evans. What can I do for you?

BEN: I need to find my son, and I know that you can help me.

SCENE 3- SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA

There is a woman in her fifties sitting on the couch reading a magazine; there is a knock on the door; she gets up and goes to answer it. She is surprised when she sees that it is her children, Ross and Tess; Benjy and Lisa are beside them.

WOMAN: Oh my goodness!

TESS: Hi, Mom!

ROSS: Mom, how are you?!

WOMAN: My children.

She hugs Tess and Ross and they share an emotional reunion; They pull away.

TESS: Mom, I want you to meet your grandchildren.

WOMAN: Oh, my!

SCENE 4- SURF CENTRAL

RAE: Have you forgotten what it was like, Casey? To be so close to one another.

Rae moves closer and wraps her arms around Casey.

RAE: It’s been so long since I kissed you that I can’t remember what it was like.

Rae moves closer and their lips begin to meet; Outside, Sara walks up to the door and is about open the door…

SCENE 5- ANNIE AND JUDE’S APARTMENT

ANNIE: I don’t know what you are talking about, Olivia.

OLIVIA: I don’t buy that for one bloody minute! Now tell me, what is going on, Annie?!

SCENE 6- ST. JOSEPH’S MISSION

The service has begun.

MAN: My name is Father Tony Clemens. I am here filling in for Father Antonio while he is on sabbatical. We are gathered here to say good-bye to a very beautiful and determined young woman- Miss. Amy Dreyer Neilsen.

The service continues and Brad continues to give the evil eye to Sean.

SCENE 7- BEN AND MEG’S BEACH HOUSE

Ben gets off the phone just as Meg comes down the stairs; Meg approaches Ben.

MEG: Ben, what’s going on? Is there any news about Benjy?

BEN: No, I just got off the phone with Pete Valente, the detective that Maria suggested we hire and he is on the case.

MEG: Really? That’s wonderful!

BEN: He said that it might take a while, but he is determined to find where they are.

MEG: That’s great news.

BEN: Yeah, I just hope that we find him as fast as we can before something else happens.

SCENE 8- SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA

TESS: Mom, this is Benjy.

ROSS: And Mom, this is Lisa.

WOMAN: I have heard so much about both of you. I’m Claudine English, your grandmother.

She hugs Benjy and then Lisa.

BENJY: Grandmother? My grandmother is Abuella Carmen.

TESS: Benjy, she is your grandmother. I will explain later.

BENJY: No, Tess, she isn’t.

TESS: We’ll talk about it later, sweetie, ok.

Benjy remains silent and is still confused.

CLAUDINE: Well, come in! Come in! Sit down! Sit down!

TESS: Ok.

They walk in and sit in the living room.

SCENE 9- SURF CENTRAL

CASEY: Rae, I don’t think that we should do this.

RAE: It’s as good a time as any.

Sara turns the door knob but she hears Joan’s voice.

JOAN: Sara! Sara, I forgot my purse in the house. Your father is in the car waiting. Do you mind if I go in and get it?

Back inside…

Rae is about to kiss Casey, and he hears Joan’s voice and realizes that Sara is right outside.

SARA (from outside): Sure, come in.

CASEY: You have to get out of here! Now!

RAE: Casey-

CASEY: Go out the back door- now!

Rae exits as Casey wishes, just as Sara and Joan walk in.

SARA: What’s going on, here?

SCENE 10- ANNIE AND JUDE’S APARTMENT

ANNIE: Get a hold of yourself, Olivia. I am not up to anything.

OLIVIA: Annie, I will find out what you are up to. I promise you that. I am going to keep a close eye on you.

ANNIE: You do what you have to do, but I am not worried at all because there is nothing to worry about!

OLIVIA: If you say so, I’m off. I am skipping Amy’s funeral for a day at a spa. I sure do need it after all the chaos lately.

ANNIE (in a British accent): Well, tally-ho, then.

Olivia exits, and Annie sighs.

ANNIE: Can she possibly get even more annoying?

SCENE 11- BEN AND MEG’S BEACH HOUSE

BEN: I am going to Maria’s and give her an update, if you want to come along.

MEG: I can’t. I am going over to my parents’ house for a little while.

BEN: Ok, I will see you later then.

MEG: Ok, I love you.

BEN: I love you too.

MEG: Bye.

Ben exits and Meg grabs her purse and soon follows.

SCENE 12- SURF CENTRAL

CASEY: Nothing’s going on, Sara. I was just worried about you.

SARA: Well, I’m fine.

She turns around and picks up Joan’s purse.

SARA: Here you go.

JOAN: Thanks. I guess I will see you both later.

CASEY: Ok, good-bye.

Joan exits.

SARA: I am going to go upstairs for a little while.

CASEY: Ok. Call me if you need something.

SARA: I will.

Outside, Rae watches and Casey spots her and she smiles at him.

SCENE 13- OUTSIDE ST. JOSEPH’S- AT THE BURIAL SITE

The mourners, which include Sean, Emily, Caitlin, Cole, Jude, Bette, A.J., Brad and others, are gathered outside at the burial site.

FATHER TONY: And now in remembrance of Amy, we will place the roses on her casket.

All begin to put the roses on Amy’s casket, and Brad loses it when he sees Emily helping Sean put his rose on the casket.

BRAD: That’s it! I’ve had it with you! You are the reason that Amy is dead!

Brad grabs Sean and punches him. All are shocked.

EMILY: Get off of him! He can’t see!

Jude and Cole rush over to try and break up the fight.

JUDE: Cut it out!

Sean manages to kick Brad, who falls right unto the casket, which falls and opens up revealing Amy’s dead body.

SCENE 1- SHOCKWAVE

Meg walks in, and Joan and Hank are working; Joan sees her and comes over to her.

JOAN: Hi, honey. What brings you by?

MEG: Well, I went to your house, but no one was there, so I figured that you would be here.

JOAN: Yeah, it got really busy, so your father and I came in.

MEG: Oh.

JOAN: So what’s going on?

MEG: Well, Ben, Maria and I are probably going to be leaving town to search for Benjy as soon as we figured out where he is.

JOAN: Oh, I see.

Hank comes over.

HANK: So, you are going to search for Benjy?

MEG: Yes.

HANK: Honey, I think that it’s a bad idea if you go.

Meg and Joan give Hank a look.

SCENE 2- MARIA’S BEACH HOUSE

Ben and Maria are talking.

BEN: Don’t worry, Maria. I’m sure that Pete will find Benjy soon.

MARIA: I hope so. I can’t stand the thought of Tess taking care of him. (pause) Oh god!

BEN: What is it?

MARIA: Ben, what if Tess tells Benjy the truth- that I’m not his real mother and that she is!

BEN: Maria-

MARIA: No, Ben. That will destroy him. He can’t know- at least not yet!

SCENE 3- THE RICHARDS HOME

Rose and Trey are walking out the front door.

ROSE: Are you ready for your walk in the park, Trey?

They exit as Annie watches them from behind a bush, and she approaches the front door.

ANNIE: It’s a good thing that I had a copy of the key made.

She walks in, and shuts the door.

ANNIE: Well, no one should be here. Olivia’s at that spa and the rest of the family is at Amy’s funeral. Well, I better get what I came for.

She walks up the stairs.

Camera switches to Bette, A.J., and Caitlin and then Jude and Cole who are watching them.

BRAD: Me! Sean’s the one who pushed me!

SEAN: What happened?

EMILY: When you kicked Brad, he fell unto Amy’s casket and knocked it over!

SEAN: Oh my god! I’m so sorry.

BRAD: Are you apologizing, Richards? For this or for causing Amy’s death?!

SCENE 6- SUNSET SISTERS

Sara unlocks the door, and walks in, and puts the open sign up. She goes behind the counter and then flashes back to when her parents told her that she was born to Joan’s sister and that Joan and Hank adopted her. She sighs.

SARA’S VOICE: This place has no meaning anymore. Meg and I aren’t sisters.

SCENE 7- SHOCKWAVE

MEG: Why, Dad? I don’t understand. Ben is my husband, and I care about Benjy.

HANK: I am just trying to spare you some pain because every time something terrible happens, you somehow always get hurt. I am not saying that Ben hurts you, but circumstances cause you to get hurt and I don’t want that to happen.

MEG: Dad, don’t worry, I’ll be fine. Ben could never ever hurt me again.

JOAN: She’s right, Hank.

HANK: I’m sorry but I was just looking out for you, Meg.

MEG: I know. (pause) So now tell me what else is going on? Why do you guys seem so down?

Joan and Hank look at each other.

SCENE 8- ST. JOSEPH’S- AT THE BURIAL SITE

Brad stands up, and goes over to Sean.

EMILY: We don’t have to listen to this, Brad!

BRAD: Yes, you do. No one cared about Amy! No one did! I was the only one who loved her.

SEAN: Brad-

BRAD: It’s true. I loved her so much.

He begins to sob and cry.

Caitlin and Cole are watching them.

COLE: Honey, I think that we should just go home.

CAITLIN: Why don’t you go ahead? I have to go run some errands, but I will be by soon.

COLE: All right.

They walk away.

Emily walks over to comfort Brad; then she walks Sean and him away from the crowd, which disperses.

EMILY: Brad, it’s ok.

SEAN: I know how much you loved Amy, I’m sorry that she is gone. I never wanted this to happen.

BRAD: I know you didn’t. I’m sorry. I guess that I needed someone to blame for Amy’s death.

SEAN: It’s ok.

Emily, Brad and Sean share a warm group hug.

SCENE 9- MARIA’S BEACH HOUSE

BEN: I don’t know if Benjy could understand the truth at his age.

MARIA: You’re right. I was just overreacting.

BEN: Yes, you were. Don’t worry, we are going to find him.

Ben’s cell phone rings; Ben takes it out of his pocket and answers it.

BEN: Hello.

PETE: Mr. Evans, this is Pete Valente. I am calling for an update on your son.

BEN: Please, tell me what is going on.

Maria looks at him wondering if he is talking to Pete.

SCENE 10- THE SHOCKWAVE

JOAN: It’s nothing, Meg. It’s Sara. We are just worried about her.

MEG: Oh? What’s going on?

HANK: We can’t really say, sweetie.

MEG: Why not?

HANK: Well, it’s complicated.

MEG: Complicated? Did something happen with her and Casey?

JOAN: Not exactly- it’s just that she’s…

MEG: What?

HANK: Joany.

JOAN: We don’t think that we should be discussing this with you.

MEG: Oh really. Well, maybe I’ll just go talk to Sara.

JOAN: Meg-

Meg walks out, and Joan and Hank sigh and look at one another.

SCENE 11- ANNIE AND JUDE’S APARTMENT

Jude walks in and takes his tie off and begins to get undressed; she walks into the bathroom.

There is a knock on the door; Caitlin walks in.

CAITLIN: Jude?

Jude walks out completely naked and Caitlin sees all and is very surprised.

SCENE 12- THE RICHARDS HOME

Annie comes walking down the stairs.

ANNIE: I finally have what we need to bring Olivia down.

She opens the door, and there is Cole about to walk in.

COLE: Annie, what the hell are you doing here?

ANNIE: Cole.

COLE: What are you up to now, Annie?

Cole grabs Annie’s arm, and pulls her toward him.

COLE: You are going to tell me right now what you are doing here.

Their lips are inches apart and there is some serious sexual tension between them.

SCENE 13- SUNSET SISTERS

Sara is working and hands a bag to a customer.

SARA: Thank you for shopping here. Have a good day.

Meg walks in, and approaches Sara; the customer exits.

SARA: Meg.

MEG: So, Sara. What’s going on?

SARA: What do you mean?

MEG: Mom and Dad are really worried about you, and I want you to tell me why. So, what’s going on?

The new district attorney Robin Jensen meets with Gregory.

SCENE 1- COUNTY PRISON

Gregory is pacing in his cell thinking about his scheme and how Iris failed; he sees a woman coming up to his cell.

GREGORY: It can’t be. No, it can’t be!

SCENE 2- CEDAR OAKS

MR. FORBISH: Is today the day?

LAVERNE: What do you mean?

MR. FORBISH: Today is Dr. Jensen’s first day.

LAVERNE: Yes, Mr. Forbish.

MR. FORBISH: I can’t wait to meet him. MAN: Well, you don’t have to wait. Hi, I’m Dr. Alec Jensen.

They shake hands.

MR. FORBISH: It’s nice to meet you.

LAVERNE: Hi, doctor. I’m Laverne Steig, Head Nurse.

ALEC: Hi. It’s nice to meet you. Well, why don’t you two show me around.

MR. FORBISH: Gladly.

Forbish and Laverne lead the way and Alec follows them.

SCENE 3- MARIA’S BEACH HOUSE

Ben’s cell phone rings; Ben takes it out of his pocket and answers it.

BEN: Hello.

PETE: Mr. Evans, this is Pete Valente. I am calling for an update on your son.

BEN: Please, tell me what is going on.

Maria looks at him wondering if he is talking to Pete.

Antonio is packing his bags; the man known as “Archbishop McGallum” comes into the room.

MCGALLUM: You have served us well, Antonio. Now you must go to Sunset Beach to finish the job that you started.

ANTONIO: Don’t worry, McGallum. I know what I have to do.

OPENING CREDITS

SCENE 6- ANNIE AND JUDE’S APARTMENT

Jude walks in and takes his tie off and begins to get undressed; she walks into the bathroom.

CAITLIN: Jude?

SCENE 8- COUNTY PRISON:

WOMAN: Yes, it’s me, Gregory.

GREGORY: So, it’s true. You are the new district attorney.

WOMAN: At your service.

GREGORY: Robin, why are you back in Sunset Beach? I never thought that you would come back here.

ROBIN: I have my reasons. Besides, I got a great job and I get to prosecute you- for murder of all things! This is like a dream.

GREGORY: You still hate me after all these years?

ROBIN: With every fiber of my being.

SCENE 9- MARIA’S BEACH HOUSE

Ben is speaking with Pete on his cell phone.

PETE: I believe that your son was taken to Australia. I questioned some people at La X and apparently, the people that I described to them got on a plane to Sydney, Australia a few days ago.

BEN: Australia? They took my son to the other side of the world?!

PETE: Apparently.

BEN: Thank you, Pete.

Ben hangs up the phone.

MARIA: Did I hear you right? Australia?

BEN: Loud and clear. I guess that we are on our way to Australia.

SCENE 10- SUNSET SISTERS

MEG: Mom and Dad are worried about Sara, and I was just trying to get her to tell me what is going on.

SARA: Meg, nothing is going on.

MEG (disbelievingly): Ok, whatever you say.

CASEY: Meg, do you mind if Sara and I talk alone.

MEG: No, not at all. I should get in touch with Ben anyway. I’ll talk to you guys later.

CASEY: Bye.

Meg exits.

SARA: What do we have to talk about?

CASEY: I think that you need to tell Meg the truth.

Sara gives Casey a look of anger.

Commercial

SCENE 11- ANNIE AND JUDE’S APARTMENT

CAITLIN: I came by to see if you were ok. I know that you took Amy’s death hard since you were there and everything.

JUDE: Yeah. I’m fine, don’t worry about me.

CAITLIN: Ok. Well, Cole is expecting me at home.

JUDE: All right. Talk to you later.

CAITLIN: Bye.

Caitlin walks out the door and shuts it behind her; she gets a smile on her face and says with her lips, “Oh, my god”.

SCENE 12- THE RICHARDS HOME

ANNIE: Why else would I be here, Cole?

COLE: I don’t know, to stir up trouble.

ANNIE: Let me go.

Annie manages to get away from Cole and opens the door.

COLE: I may not know what you are up to, Annie, but I am going to be keeping a close eye on you.

ANNIE: Oh, yeah? Don’t waste your time, Cole.

Annie exits, then shuts the door, and Cole shakes his head.

SCENE 13- COUNTY PRISON

ROBIN: Well, I have to get going. But I’m sure that we will be seeing each other, Gregory.

GREGORY: Oh, yeah?

ROBIN: Though if I could avoid it, I would.

Robin exits and Gregory starts pacing again.

GREGORY’S VOICE: Iris has got to get the evidence out of Robin’s hands or I’m finished. (pause) Wait, maybe there is another way out of this.

SCENE 14- SUNSET SISTERS

SARA: Tell Meg the truth, I don’t think so.

CASEY: Why not? She is your sister.

SARA: No, she’s not. She’s my cousin.

CASEY: The bottom line is that she deserves to know.

SARA: I will tell Meg when I am good and ready. Besides, now is not the time with everything that is going on with Benjy.

CASEY: Excuses, excuses. Well, you think about it. I have to get back to the station.

SARA: Ok. Bye.

CASEY: Bye.

He kisses her on the cheek and exits, and Sara sighs.

SCENE 15- ANTONIO’S CAR

Antonio is driving along, and has an evil smile on his face.

ANTONIO: Only a few more miles, and I’m home.

SCENE 16- AN UNKNOWN ROOM

McGallum is sitting in his chair talking to another man.

MAN: So, Antonio is on his way back to Sunset Beach.

MCGALLUM: Yes, and will be do what we told him to do. After all those hours we spent torturing him and brainwashing him, I have no doubt that he will kill Gabi Martinez.

MAN: Good.

SCENE 17- CEDAR OAKS

ALEC: And who is in this room?

LAVERNE: Oh, no one. You don’t want to know this patient.

ALEC: Why not?

MR. FORBISH: The patient was a little crazy, but is getting better. Though, I still have the feeling that she reminds me of someone I know.

Alec opens the door, and takes a peak and the patient. The camera goes up the hospital bed slowly, to reveal none other than Virginia Harrison!

ON THE FEBRUARY 7th EPISODE:
Alec meets Virginia.
Ben, Maria and Meg make travel plans.
Antonio reunites with his family.
Caitlin finds herself fantasizing about Jude.

UPCOMING PREVIEW
Maria, Ben and Meg head to Australia to find Benjy, but Tess and Ross won't give up without a fight and Meg notices a growing closeness between Ben and Maria which angers her, and leads to trouble. Maria and Tess have a huge showdown, which could be deadly. By the end of February episodes, the triangle of Meg/Ben/Maria will be permanently resolved.

Gregory and Robin have a connection from the past and will have a lot of good story with that. Alec, Robin's husband begins working at Cedar Oaks and Virginia develops an attraction to him.

Annie and Cole and Caitlin and Jude fight their respective attractions. Iris and Annie's plan hits a snag, and in the process Annie and Cole grow closer.

Sara tells Casey that she wants to postpone the wedding and he agrees. Rae continues to cause trouble for them, and expect a major development in this story within the next few episodes.

Sean gets his sight back, and a renewed view of life. Sean gets involved with Alexia, Alec and Robin's daughter, and Emily grows jealous of their growing closeness and Brad sees an opportunity to win Emily over.

Elaine finds out about a secret from long ago (you probably know what secret) and A.J. is furious with Bette. Bette and Elaine become mortal enemies as each fights to win A.J.'s love.

And the most exciting story is the resolution to Gabi's stalking. It is going to be a great story, and make sure to read this next episode because there is another development and there are still more twists to the story. Paula continues to go after Ricardo.
