After unsuccessfully trying to convince Annie not to commit suicide by jumping off a ledge, Olivia, Gregory, and Bette see that she was wearing a safety harness all the time. (Aug. 27, 1998)

Note: Gregory reneged on the bargain and did not return Annie's stock.

OLIVIA: Oh, nothing... that she didn't deserve to hear.

Annie runs past, still crying.
GREGORY: (following her) Annie! Annie!
OLIVIA: (to A.J.) Oh, I can't remember when I've had this much fun. I mean, seeing Annie's sham of a marriage to Gregory exposed for what it really is--that alone is worth the price of admission.
