Fave Oliver Film: Far too many to mention but I'll say Oliver! because
that's the first time I saw him!
Comments:
Oh Ollie, you are missed. Without a doubt one of Britain's finest actors.
I've been a fan of Oliver's since a small child, and I've followed his career
very closely over the years. The world just isn't the same without you Ollie
but I know your having a great time wherever you are.
God Bless and many congratulations on a great website.

You've Captured his Essence! Just mailing to offer my congratulations
on a fine Ollie site; I've been a fan of his films for several years now,
and an even more ardent admirer of his character.
If only today's so-called celebrities had the same honesty, resolve and
independence as Ollie, the title 'Movie star' would still have meaning.
Keep up the admiration.

I have never had this opportunity to to
express my feelings on the sad loss of Oliver Reed, Britain's greatest
actor, in my opinion. My admiration for this man stems from my childhood
when I followed his career as a true fan following every film he made. Ollie,
I miss you so much,im sure your in a place were your still entertaining
and living life to the full.

I remember seeeing Ollie Reed on Aspel when I was about 15 and I thought
he was great. A breath of fresh air. He didn't give a fuck. Brilliant. After
that I searched his films out. He was so underestimated. He didn't get the
recognition becuase he didn't toe the line. He liked to get pissed. So what.
Most men do. He was a man's man. Who cares about Tom Cruise with his bottle
of mineral water. I'm so chuffed Ollie's last movie was a classic. Ollie
was a true original and the world is a poorer place without him.
Keep up the good workon the site.

The first time that I saw Oliver Reed was when I was about seven years old.
I watched The Great Scout and Cathouse Thursday and fell in love
with "Joe Knox." From there on out, every time that I saw Ollie's
name in the credits of a film, my heart and stomach just bounced!! I
knew that he was going to deliver an articulate and spell-binding performance.

Just finished reading Evil Spirits:
The life of Oliver Reed, and am still engrossed in the whole painfull
ordeal of his life. He was one of my favorite British actors, but reading
about his life has made me seriously quit my own madness of drinking. Well,
to Ollie, I'm sure he has his own private pub, above the garage, in Heaven.
