Borg - Chakotay finds the remains of a Borg on the planet's surface when they were clearing away the Sakari ruins; they were the invaders who destroyed the Sakari colony. (Blood Fever)

Cortical monitor - The Doctor has Vorik wear a cortical monitor when Vorik begins experiencing the Pon Farr. (Blood Fever)

Gallicite - Voyager detects nearly a kiloton of galicite on the 4th planet in a uninhabited star system; gallicite is a rare substance; Voyager can use it to refit the warp coils since they have had a lot of damage over the past 2 years; Torres discovers that the source of the gallicite readings are power conduits covered with gallicite plating. Geo-spectral analsis kit - This is one of the supplies that the away team brings with them when they beam down to the planet to find gallicite. (Blood Fever)

Ishan (Bruce Bohne) - This is one of the Sakari that captures Tuvok and Chakotay; he agrees to let them go when Chakotay offers to help them avoid detection by outsiders. (Blood Fever)

Jaw - Vorik suffers a dislocated jaw when Torres hits him when he doesn't accept her refusal of his offer of Kunat So'lik. (Blood Fever)

Klingon - Vorik says that many humanoid species are unable to endure Klingon mating practices, but that his superior Vulcan strength would make him a suitable partner; the Doctor says that there is a lot of information in the cultural database about Klingon mating practices; for a Klingon, injuring a clavicle on the wedding night is considered a blessing in the marriage. Kunat Kaliphee - This is the ritual combat that is one way of resolving the Pon Farr; Vorik declares Kunat Kaliphee in order to fight for Torres to become his mate. (Blood Fever)

Kunat So'lik - Vorik declares Kunat So'lik to Torres when he asks her to become his mate. (Blood Fever)

Pon Farr - Vorik experiences his first Pon Farr and asks Torres to become his mate; symptoms of the Pon Farr include a chemical imbalance and loss of emotional control; Vulcans go through Pon Farr every 7 years of their adult life; during the Pon Farr, Vulcans have an irrestible urge to return to the home world and take a mate; there are 3 option to resolve the Pon Farr: 1. taking a mate, 2. ritual combat, and 3. intensive meditation; Vorik and Torres resolve the Pon Farr after Torres defeats him during the Kunat Kaliphee. P'tak - A Klingon insult; Torres calls Vorik this. (Blood Fever)

Sakari - The away team encounter the Sakari on the planet; the Sakari once lived on the planet before they were attacked by invaders and escaped to the mines; they have attempted to avoid detection by outsiders because if the invaders knew of their existence they might return again; Chakotay offers to help them avoid detection by outsiders and in return the Sakari give Voyager a generous supply of gallicite. Telepathic mating bond - Vorik inadvertantly initiates a telepathic mating bond with Torres after she refuses his offer of mating; this bond causes Torres to begin experiencing the Pon Farr. (Blood Fever)

T'Pera - A holographic Vulcan women that the Doctor creates in order to help Vorik resolve the Pon Farr. (Blood Fever)

USS Voyager - Vorik says that there are currently 73 male crew members on Voyager, some of whom are already unavailable to mate with. (Blood Fever)

Vorik (Alexander Enberg) - Vorik spent several summers exploring the Osana caverns which involved treacherous climbing; he declares Kunat So'lik to Torres when he asks her to become his mate; he believes he and Torres would complement each other; he suffers a dislocated jaw when Torres hits him; he is experiencing his first Pon Farr; Vorik attempts to resolve the Pon Farr through meditation; the Doctor creates a holographic Vulcan woman for Vorik to "mate" with; Vorik seems to have resolved the Pon Farr, but he beams down to the planet and declares Kunat Kaliphee; Torres takes Vorik's Kunat Kaliphee challenge and the Pon Farr is resolved when she defeats him.
