Force field - Chakotay orders force fields around sensitive areas of the ship such as the warp core, the armory, and the torpedo bays. (Displaced)

Gennaro - Crewman on Voyager; he is one of the last of the crew to disappear from Voyager; Chakotay tells him to sabotage anything he can get his hands on. (Displaced)

Jarlath (Mark L. Taylor) - Jarlath is an alien from one of the other compounds; he comes through a portal to the compound of the Voyager crew; it has taken him 9 years to find the portal; he helps the Voyager crew find a portal into the Nyrian command center; he is captured and sent back to his own compound. (Displaced)

Klingon - Paris and Torres work out using a Klingon Martial Arts program on the holodeck; Klingons have less tolerance for cold than humans do. (Displaced)

Lang (Deborah Levin) - She becomes acting Chief of Security after much of the crew has disappeared. (Displaced)

Larson - Male Voyager crew member; he is one of the last crew members to disappear from Voyager. (Displaced)

Lateral EPS relays - Chakotay disrupts the lateral EPS relays to try to disrupt the computer functions. (Displaced)

Metallurgic analysis - After Gegen retracts his claims regarding the Distant Origin theory, Ogala reassigns him to the task of metallurgical analysis. (Distant Origin)

Microcellular scan - The Doctor does a microcellular scan on Dammar to try to find residual energy traces. (Displaced)

Microwave signature - Torres reconfigures the Doctor's optical scanners to detect the microwave signature of the portals. (Displaced)

Mobile emitter - Chakotay downloads the Doctor into the mobile emitter in order to save his program. (Displaced)

Molina - Male Ensign on Voyager; Gennaro finds Molina unconscious in Engineering after he is attacked by Rislan. (Displaced)

Multispectral sweep - Rislan tells Torres that a multispectral sweep would be more useful than a tetryon scan. (Displaced)

Nyrian system - The Nyrians have a colony on the third planet of the Nyrian system; the system has a red giant star with a large cloud of interstellar dust just beyond the fifth planet. (Displaced)

Nyrians - The Nyrians begin appearing on Voyager at the same time that the crew begins to disappear; Nyrians prefer warmer temperatures and dimmer levels of light; they have a colony on Nyria 3; Janeway confines the Nyrians to the cargo bays and posts security details at every access points when she becomes suspicious of them; the crew soon discovers that the Nyrians are responsible for the disappearances; ther intend to use Voyager to defend their acquisistions; Janeway gets the Nyrians to surrender when she translocates Dammar and Rislan to the cold Argala compound. (Displaced)

Polaron particles - Torres detects a surge of polaron particles right before Kim and Tuvok disappear. (Displaced)

Portal - Jarlath is able to enter the compound of the Voyager crew through some sort of portal; it took him 9 years to find the portal; Torres reconfigures the Doctor's optical scanners to detect the microwave signature of the portals; Janeway, Tuvok, Torres, Paris and Jarlath are able to access a portal into a Nyrian control station; Paris and Torres find several other portals which lead into other compounds. (Displaced)

Rislan (James Noah) - A Nyrian astrophysicist; Torres consults Rislan to try to figure out why the Voyager crew is disappearing; Janeway translocates Dammar and Rislan to the Argala compound in order to get them to surrender. (Displaced)

Security seals - Chakotay orders that access to all systems should be restricted to authorized voice prints and that any parts of the ship that they aren't currently using be sealed off. (Displaced)

Sensor logs - Torres tells Kim to run a Level 1 analysis of all sensor logs at the exact moment of Dammar's appearance on Voyager. (Displaced)

Shuttle bay - When the cargo bays become full with Nyrians, the crew begins to convert the shuttle bays and take the Nyrians there instead. (Displaced)
