Avery System - Voyager completed a survey of this system and were enroute to rendevous with Paris, Torres and Durst on the third planet of the system. (Faces)

Ayala - Male Lieutenant on Voyager; Janeway asks him to scan for alien vessels in the sector. (Faces)

Biomatrix - The Vidiians shut down the biomatrix after the genotron has completed the regeneration phase. (Faces)

Bread crumbs - This is Kim's way of saying that Voyager should modify a subspace transponder that could be deployed along the away team's path in order to maintain a link with the ship. (Faces)

Corn salad - Neelix fixes this native dish for Chakotay. (Faces)

Dermal stimulator - The Doctor uses this on Chakotay when he is surgically altering his apperance to look like a Vidiian. (Faces)

Durst, Pete (Brian Markinson) - He is taken prisoner by the Vidiians along with Paris and Torres on the third planet of the Avery system; he is killed by Sulan so that his face could be grafted onto Sulan's. (Faces)

Force field - Voyager discovers that a Vidiian force field is preventing them from locating Paris, Torres, and Durst on the planet; the force field has been adapted to repulse phaser fire; Kim discovers a network of micro-fissures in the force field that develop each time the field is remodulated; he believes that they may be able to transport someone through the fissure. (Faces)

Genome - Sulan reconstituted this in Torres so that she would be purely Klingon. (Faces)

Genotron - The Vidiians shut down this machine after the regeneration phase on Torres has been completed. (Faces)

Kessik Four - Torres live here with her mother after her father left them; they were the only Klingons living there at the time since Federation/Klingon relations were not too cordial. (Faces)

Klingon - Sulan reconstitutes the genomes in Torres so that she would be purely Klingon; Torres tells Sulan that Klingon females are reknown in the Alpha Quadrant not only for their physical strength, but for their voracious sexual appetite as well; the Klingon Torres is killed; the Doctor uses the tissue from the Klingon Torres in order to reintegrate this Klingon DNA back into the Human Torres's cellular structure since she needs those Klingon genes in order to survive. Magnesite - Paris, Torres, and Durst were inspecting the third planet for magnesite formations when they were captured by the Vidiians. (Faces)

Organ Processing - This is the place where the Vidiians extract the organs from their prisoners. (Faces)

Peanut butter and jelly sandwich - Neelix fixes this "comfort food" for Paris. (Faces)

Phage - An early symptom of the phage is excruciating joint pain; some people have been known to die from this pain; Torres's body was able to successfully fight off the phage (Faces)

Plomeek soup - Neelix fixes this Vulcan dish for Tuvok since Neelix believes that the crew deserves a little taste of home now and then; Neelix spices up the soup since it seems so bland to him. (Faces)

Security console - The human Torres works at this station to try to find a way to get through the Vidiian force field. (Faces)

Sulan (Brian Markinson) - Vidiian male; Sulan is chief surgeon of the Vidiian Sodality; he extracts Torres's Klingon DNA hoping that it will be resistant to the phage and help the Vidiians find a cure; Sulan kills Durst so that he can graft Durst's face onto his; he acccidently kills the Klingon Torres. (Faces)

Talaxian prisoner (Rob LaBelle) - The Talaxian prisoner tells Paris that he has been held prisoner for 6 years; he is the only one of his crew that is still alive. (Faces)

Tectonic activity - Voyager doesn't detect any sign of tectonic activity on the third planet although the cavern system seems to differ from the previous readings Voyager has taken; they believe Paris, Torres, and Durst may have been trapped due to geological shifts. (Faces)

Tika cats - The Klingon Torres says that fighting their way out of the Vidiian complex is better than sitting there like frightened Tika cats. (Faces)

Vidiians - The Vidiians take Paris, Torres, and Durst prisoner on the third planet of the Avery system; they use prisoners to dig their tunnels on the planet; Dr. Sulan of the Vidiian sodality hoped to find a cure for the Phage by using Torres's Klingon genetic structure which seemed to be resistant to the disease. (Faces)
