Early shows featured numerous fat jokes, but these were reduced as the seriees progressed. "Babes" was a Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation production. "The One Where Charlene Meets Ronnie's Mother" 11 October 1990 D: Michael Lessac Charlene ends up battling Ronnie's mother before they even meet. Guests: Dena Dietrich - Ronnie's mother 7E03. "Temper, Temper" 18 October 1990 D: Michael Lessac Darlene's soon-to-be-ex-husband, Wilbur, demands spousal support as part of the divorce settlement. "Dream Vacation" 28 October 1990 D: Michael Lessac The girls end up in a "Fantasy Island" nightmare when they visit a tropical vacation resort, Club Cabo, which ends up being a rundown outpost, run by a tacky showman (Cesar Romero), with a lecherous dwarf as an assistant. "The Thanksgiving Show" 18 November 1990 D: Michael Lessac The girls dread the start of the "eating season" and agree to go cold turkey by not preparing a Thanksgiving meal but do intend to make it the best holiday ever for a homeless orphan. "Ribs" 6 December 1990 D: Don Corvan While Ronnie is away at the Great American Rib-Off, the sisters try to keep business booming at his rib joint.
