B-ko is the arch villain of A-ko in the original series, but personally
I think she's misunderstood. Sure, she tries to kill A-ko every day
with a newly built mecha, and I admit she tends to laugh maniacally, but
does this mean she's evil?
(of course she is!)
B-ko deserves some credit. Being as rich as Bill Gates has left her socially isolated, all she really wants is a good friend. I admit her plan is a little over the top, but hey! Rich people tend to be eccentric. B-ko looks down on almost everybody, but she dotes on C-ko, worships Kei, and respects her father. (Except when he gets in the way, of course.)
It's a different story in the "Battles" series though, as a Bounty Hunter B-ko is a lot nicer to A-ko. Thankfully she is still a technical genius, and still bossy.
The great thing about B-ko is she really is a complex character.
You really have to think about her motivations, and wonder just what molded
her into the twisted character that we see. Is she a cardboard cut-out
villian stereotype, or a decent human being who needs love? You decide...
