A-ko's parents are a mysterious couple who are so reclusive, they never even answer the door! It is thought that they may in fact be Clark Kent (Superman) and Diana Prince (Wonder Woman). This theory is supported by a number of tantilizing clues;
1) At the end of the first movie, A-ko's mother is seen to be repairing what looks like a Superman suit, while A-ko's father is seen reading a Daily Plenet (Planet), the headlines in the said newspaper is taken directly from the Superman comic.
2) A-ko's father looks like Clark Kent, and A-ko's mother resembles Lynda Carter's Diana Prince from the Wonder Woman TV series.
3) Both parents spend a LOT of time in America "on business".
4) The apron that A-ko's mother wears looks like a Wonder Woman outfit.
In fact A-ko's linage is obvious, like the original Superman, A-ko has super strength, incredible running speed, and fantastic leaping ability. Like Wonder Woman, A-ko can block bullets with her arm bracers. It is theorised that A-ko's bracers could have been made from Wonder Woman's Bracelets of Power, but reversed to control her strength.
Why Clark & Di married , moved to Graviton City, and changed their name to Magami isn't really explained, but it makes for a great in-joke. Thanks to them, the "Western Appeal" of Project A-ko was enhanced considerably, and for that we should be grateful.
Let's have a round of applause for a "Super Guy", and a "Wonderful Woman"!
