I must say that this looked like a good film but it was so great that I saw it twice!!! I got it on video the day it came out. And I just gotta say.......what a GREAT film! Harrison Ford was really great in this. Glenn Close (Vice President) was also very good. But I have to admit, Gary Oldman stole the movie. He was just simply amazing. It's funny, in lots of Harrison Ford movies, there is almost always someone who does a better job than Harrison! Like, in The Fugitive it was Tommy Lee Jones, in Patriot Games, it was Sean Bean.....umm..... ok, I can't think of anymore! But still.... that's 3 movies there! I am putting Air Force One up on my top 10 Ford movies list. Probably falls in the number 7 slot. President James Marshall's plane (Air Force One) gets hijacked by these Russian freaks who want to get their psycho General Radek outta prison, and back in command. Marshall won't get off the plane until his family is off first. The Russians will execute a hostage every half hour until this man is realeased. Very exciting movie. 4 stars **** I think that Harrison Ford should run for president!! God knows he'd win by a large margin!
