Harrison Ford was born in Chicago on July 13, 1942. He was born at 11:42 A.M. He was never the most popular in his age group as a kid. He got beat up a lot but as he said in an interview w/ Barbra Walters "The girls loved me for it!"
He worked his way through grammer and high school maintaining a B- average. He had no clue what he wanted to be when he grew up. It was his brother who was always into movies. Harrison spent a lot of his time going to the movies with his brother and developed a love for film. He decided not to go to college and to start a career acting instead. Before doing this, he was a carpenter.
He is one of the most sucsessful actors in history. He has stared in movies such as the Star Wars, The Fugitive, Indiana Jones' etc. He has 4 children. Two of them from a previous marrige w/ Mary Marquerdt. He is currently happily married to Mellissa Mathison with two children. He keeps his family life private and does not have anything to do with Hollywood. Ford owns an 800 acre ranch in Wyoming, and his favorite hobby is to fly his planes. He is also very shy. You can tell this when he is in an interview. He gets very nervous and uses his sense of humor to lighten up. He also has an earring in his left ear. His son Ben asked if he could have one and Ford replied "Yeah when your 54!" Harrison Ford is a great actor and a great man. How could you not have all the respect in the world for him? :-)
