What can I say about Patriot Games? It is such a great movie. Sure a little violent but that's OK!! This is the story of a former Marine who breaks up an assasination attempt on the Prince and Princess of Whales while on vacation. A fraction of the IRA led by Kevin O'Donnell (Patrick Bergin)and Sean Miller (Sean Bean) finds out that Jack Ryan (Ford) has done this and vow to get revenge. They start by going after Ryan's wife (Anne Archer) and little daughter (Thora Birch) while they are coming home on a highway. They shoot the car and Ryan's family is hospitalized. Ryan makes sure that his house and family are secure. They have the Royals and his friend over for dinner one night. Miller and O'Donnell see thier time to strike. The war is raging. Only Ryan can save his family.
