This is probably Ford's hardest role ever & he did an excellent job in it.
Henry, (Harrison Ford) a hot shot lawyer was a very unpleasant, & bossy man went out to buy a pack of cigarettes. He walk in right in the middle of a burglary. Henry refuses to give the robber his wallet & gets shot twice. Once in the head, Once in the shoulder. He survives, buy suffers badly from a loss of memory. He can't even talk or walk. But, his cool psychical therapist, Bradly helps him along & gets him to talk, and helps him to walk. His wife (Annette Benning) and daughter bring him home and teach him basic knowledge and what it's like to have a family. He goes back to his firm and learns that they are crooks. He makes a complete change from who he used to be. He doesn't remember what he was like but everyone else does.
I'm not giving away the ending for people who haven't seen this great film.
