(my film) Film screening last night -- went very well. Answer print looked infinitely better through nice projector. Handed last undergraduate paper in Friday.
Seen this week: The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas: Okay, I'm biased, but I thought it was really cute. Jokes for adults almost equal the kid stuff. Amazing sets, although I'd have to see it again to really concentrate on the film itself--I think it was too distracting for me trying to figure out where I'd been standing and when and where it was filmed, etc. Assorted socially conscious shorts and various clips of porn courtesy of Richard Fung: Porn is porn, no matter what country you're from. I guess the real point of the evening was dominancy, sexually and socially. Student screeing: actually, I'm very impressed. I hadn't ever seen some of them before, and on the whole the good films really outnumbered the not-so-good. Mine was last--talk about anxiety. Currently reading: The Artful Universe by John D. Barrow. Explore the connect. between science and art in our universe -- why are we drawn to certain types of music, art, etc., and is it more biological than we'd like to think? I picked this book up in L.A. last summer and never got a chance to get into it. Fascinating. Listening to: Madonna, Prince... haven't had enough money to buy new music in months. It's starting to bother me.
	After a very chilly night, it's finally warm today. I hope it's here to stay.
After-screeing party was fun until I was sexually harassed by a very drunk tall blonde Finnish boy who says "Fuck" between every other word.
