Well it's finally here... the sequel we've (at least me) been wating for. Saw the movie and boy did I get scared. I'm sorry about all the false rumors, about the opening scene and the end scene. Please don't blame me, because I did not write them... So enjoy the movie... Hope to see all you guys back again in I Know 3... Below is a synopsis of the opening scene in the
movie (we think and we hope), sweep over the area below if you wish to read
the spoilers. Thanks to the slightly Jennifer Love Hewitt-obsessed
'Ben Willis' for the scoop:
I know how the movie starts. It starts with a shot of a steamy
shower door that has 'I Still Know' written in the steam. Then the
killer bursts out at Julie and he chases her (She is only wearing a
towel). She cuts her palms on the broken glass trying to get
away. He lunges at her and misses. She tries opening the door,
but can't get it open. The killer sees her trying to get away so he
pulls of his attached hook and slides it along the ground at her,
slicing her right ankle open, just as she gets the door open. She
runs through the dark and gets to the indoor basketball courts,
still only wearing the towel. We see the killer up in the pressbox.
Julie is standing in the middle of the court screaming. The killer
presses a button that reads 'Swim-gym' and the floor opens up
underneath Julie to reveal a pool. She falls into the pool, and we
can hear the killers laughter amplified over the P.A. system. The
towel comes off Julie, but you can't see anything. The killer
closes the roof of the pool over trying to trap Julie, but she gets
out just in time. (Still you can't see her naked). The killer then
walks down the basketball court towards her. She runs over to a
framed jersey and breaks the glass and puts on the oversized
jersey. She then runs down a corridor with lots of doors (none of
which will open). She turns back, but the fisherman is no longer
there. Then a door flies open on her right. The killer says, 'I Still
Know What You Did Last Summer'. Just as he is about to kill
Julie, we hear a female voice count back from three, clap and
then say awake!. We see Julie lay up off a couch. Then we see
that she is retelling a nightmare she is having to her therapist
named Carole.

I got this scoop from Shawnae. I don't really know if it actually true. This rumor is about the killer/ending of the movie. If you want to read it, sweep the area below.
I know for a fact, that Julia Louis Dreyfuss (From TV's Seinfeld)
will be in I Still Know. She will play a female second killer (that's
the big twist everyones talking about). Her motives for being a
killer are unknown at the moment. Her name is not on the cast
list and she is not in any trailers, as the writer wants to keep it a
big secret.

The new full trailer of I STill Know Waht You Did Last Summer is now roling in front of Urban Legend. By the way, Urban Legend is a really cool movie.
SEPTEMBER 24, 1998
The I Still Know release date has been moved up by A WEEK! (ieh!) Yes, the movie is now set to
open on November 13th along with the new Brad Pitt vehicle, Meet Joe Black. People, don't fall for it. Meet Ben Willis Baby!
I think the movie is much better not being released November 20th where Disney's A Bug's Life, The Rugrats Movie and the
Mira Sorvino/Val Kilmer romantic drama At First Sight were all set to be released. Now if only they can pull an H20 and
release it in 2 weeks...hmm. Stay Tuned. By the way, thanks to GRPlutko and Anthony for the Release Date notice!

Jennifer Love Hewitt, speaking to EW this week (you've GOT to pick up their superb fall movie preview issue hitting
newsstand on Monday), reveals that she's up for another Summer turn. "I'd definitely think about doing [I Know What You
Did Last Summer 3]," she says. "I mean, these aren't the sort of movies that make you think you'll win an Oscar, but they are
a lot of fun to make." That's as good a reason to make a sequel as any the Insider's heard...and her admission would seem to
put her in good shape to survive the sequel.
Also in the EW preview Hewitt explains how her character has evolved since the first movie. "She's been really affected by
what happened to her in the first movie. She's scared of every little noise. She's a lot more paranoid this time. The whole movie
is a little crazier that way. There's a lot more blood."

Kevin Williamson ("Scream," "IKWYDLS"),
says he has turned down an offer to write a sequel to Summer
and has questioned whether other teen screamers currently in
the works have a chance of succeeding. Williamson told the New
York Post on Sunday, "Scream was in some ways the rebirth
and the death of the slasher film. It exposes all the rules and
conventions of the genre, so you can't do it straight anymore. but
if you follow the Scream route, it'll look like a blatant rip-off."
