The costume was unprofessionally made by a housemate of mine. (He abandoned the project unfinished, though, so I did some of the work myself-- any hand-sewing you see was done by me.) He has sewn professionally, but only upholstery, not clothing. Thus, this is not a garment-quality outfit. However, it's stood up to quite a few costume wearings, so it should be good enough for that use. It has been machine washed once or twice, but since it's not garment-quality, I'd recommend careful spot-cleaning or careful hand-washing and drying flat. The main material is navy-blue suiting, so it's heavy and fairly warm. The lighter blue is cheaper, lighter, and not stiff. Thus, the collar is currently held up by a bit of wire running through -_-;; . You may want to starch it or usee some other means to stiffen it, though. The wire is easy to remove, if desired. The collar closes with Velcro, because I can't make a buttonhole, but it shouldn't be visible in most circumstances. The zippers are all real and functional (though the "pockets" aren't). We couldn't find the right zipper pulls, so the goldtone rings are actually keyrings. I think they work out well, though. I am 5'1", and I think my measurements at the time were something like 48-38-50. I wore a 22 or 2x at the time. This costume would best fit someone similarly short and Rubenesque in build. My asking price is $20, but may be negotiable, or traded for under certain circumstances. Buyer pays actual shipping as calculated on USPS.com . The suiting material and many zippers make this a heavy item to ship, but I will use a flat-rate box if at all possible to keep shipping costs down.
