Anaconda is a thriller starring Jennifer Lopez, Jon Voight and Rap Star Ice Cube (Boyz N The Hood). The film is a thriller about real anaconda snakes, although the size, proportion and violence of the snakes seems to have been somewhat exagerated.
A film crew set out on a journey through the Amazon to film a documentary on the discovery of a lost tribe. Along the way they pick up a stranded passenger, who seems content on taking them on a course of danger to be the first to capture Anaconda is an enjoyable film but isn't flawless by any means. The biggest flaw is the special effects. Special effects are there to make the image look real and intense, but the anacondas in this picture look like exactly what they are - a computer graphic. This is not to say the film is bad by any means. The film is still both watchable and enjoyable.
