I would describe the film as sweet in its reasonably successful attempts at uplifting the spirits. The film sports a good soundtrack along with good acting.
Cage plays an Angel, whose job is to transport the dead to heaven. When in the operating theatre waiting for a transportee, he discovers a female doctor that is able to see him. As time goes he falls more and more in love with her hence a decision must be made. In order to become human he must chose to fall to Earth.
City Of Angels is an uplifting film, and one I would certainly recommend. It's touching, full of thought and nicely presented.
