Good Will Hunting is a moving drama, tackling the issues not many dare. It stars Matt Damon and Robin Williams and although they seem an unlikely pair to put together, they do create good, solid drama.
Matt stars as Will, a rebellious, witty twenty year old who's grown up in a rough area in South Boston. He never went to college, yet he can solve math problems that baffle the brainiest of professors. How? A photographic memory. When up in court with another run in with the law, they agree to release him on the condition that he visits a therapist once a week. This therapist has an admiration for his emotional stuggles and a keen understanding of what it's like to fight your way through life.
This movie is hugely watchable. It's a low budget film that has blossemed into sucess. It's very touching and emotional, although some scenes do drag on for a little to long.
