This children's comedy starring Alex D. Linz didn't quite achieve the sucess of the first two films. There was quite a gap between Home Alone 2 and 3, and a change of star was called for - Macaulay Culkin was somewhat too old to star again.
Eight year old Alex, while at home with the chicken pox discovers a computer chip containing U.S. defence files. The bad guys, sent to retrieve the chip, go from house to house searching. When Alex calls the police and they don't believe him, he decides to set up his own plan.
This film is a good film to watch with young children. It has enough action to keep them satisfied, but not so much that it would disturb them. Although it is ultimatly a children's film, it is actually quite entertaining but it does bear similarities with the first two.
