'The X Files Movie' is based on the successful television series starring David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson as the infamous characters Agents Mulder and Scully. It is as every little bit entertaining as the show itself. In fact, probably more, as being longer than the show, more events are needed to keep the viewer interested.
The X Files are closed and Mulder and Scully are back to boring duties again. When a bomb goes off in an office building, the FBI insist that someone take the blame for it: Mulder and Scully. Tipped off by someone, Mulder suspects that there is a deeper plot behind it all and they set off to uncover the conspiracy to end all conspiracies.
The film has the same recipe as the Television show, except dives deeper into the emotional side. As with all The X Files, more than a little creative licence is needed, but it's defiantly a top film. A must for every X Files fan.
