Heather Donahue has come from totally obscurity to being on the cover of countless magazines and talk shows, and even presenting an award at the MTV Video Music Awards. All this thanks to a little independant movie shot on an almost non-exsistint budget. "THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT", which was shot on a combination of 16mm film and Hi8 video, has shocked many people by becoming one of the most profitable films in history. The rumored budget was around 35 thousand and the final box office take ended up at just over 140 million. The film is shot in a documentary style, by the actors themselves, as they journey into the woods in search of the Blair Witch. Even though the film is pure fiction, many people believed it to be true, thanks to the clever advertising campain. Heather is very impressive in the film, as she conveys her fear, and terror in a very believable fashion that makes the movie more real and frightening. There's no word yet what she has planned for the future, but I'm sure thanks to the sucess of Blair Witch, that she'll be moving on to bigger budget movies and hopefully we'll get to see her in more horror films.
