Hi. Welcome to the NBC SuperNet Auditorium and the NBC.COM chat

room on the web. Tonight, we have three special guests here in our

Burbank studios: JASON BROOKS, STEPHANIE CAMERON and (making a

surprise appearance) MARK VALLEY of "Days of our Lives."

We'll be taking questions from both the MSN and NBC.COM on the

World Wide Web (http://.nbc.com).

Before we begin this chat with all the fans out there in

cyberspace, here's a few background notes on our guests:

JASON BROOKS: (Peter Blake) -- Jason Brooks made his "Days of Our

Lives" debut as the charming but dangerous Peter Blake on

September 1, 1993. He has since been featured on the cover of

Playgirl magazine, and Soap Opera Digest hails him as one of the

sexiest men on television. At the 1995 Soap Opera Digest Awards,

Brooks was named Outstanding Villain. Brooks made his feature film

debut in the action-adventure movie "Captain America." He later

appeared in the kickboxing feature "Bloodmatch." Brooks

guest-starred on several television series, including "Doogie

Howser M.D.," "Baywatch" and "Adam-12." His stage credits include

"Crimes of the Heart," "Hat Full of Rain," "The Murder Room" and

"Myron."

STEPHANIE CAMERON (Jennifer Blake) -- Stephanie Cameron made her

debut on "Days of Our Lives" as the sweet and beguiling Jennifer

Blake on December 19, 1995. She describes her first day on the set

as "a whirlwind," and adds, "I couldn't ask for better people to

work with." Born in St. Louis, Mo., and raised in Kansas, Cameron

began modeling in her early teens. After high school graduation,

she moved to. Her modeling career took her to such exciting

destinations as Italy, Germany and Switzerland, but she always

enjoyed returning to her home in Los Angeles.

MARK VALLEY (Jack Deveraux) -- Mark Valley made his "Days of Our

Lives" debut as the clever and charismatic Jack Deveraux on

October 28, 1994. Valley is no stranger to the daytime audience as

he played the recurring role of Father Pete on NBC's "Another

World." He appeared in the feature film "The Innocent" with

Anthony Hopkins, and his theatrical credits include "The Crucible"

and "Hurly Burly." In his time away from the "Days of Our Lives"

stages, Valley stays active by mountain biking, swimming and

running. He also enjoys camping, fishing, reading, watching old

films and restoring classic cars.

Jason: Better to have a front issue... and I guess you can contact

Playgirl, or get one of Mark's old copies.

Mark: Shut up, you jerk!

movies, how do you like your work in a daytime program? Bonne

Mark: Buenos noches, Sylvie... Yes, I like Montreal very much! :-)

The only movies I've made, have been unviewable...

Jason: Because they're pornos!

Mark: They're also on Jason's resume.

Jason: Sylvie: I don't know if that answers your question, but

there it is.

Mark: Sylvie, daytime is a great experience...because if I can

work with Jason Brooks, I can work with anyone.

Will jennifer ever forgive peter when she finds he been lying?

into replace actors who were well-loved by the fans. What has been

the most difficult thing about replacing an actor in a role?

Mark: Was having to wear their underwear.

Soap Opera Digest in the past has named you Best Villain and one

of television's sexiest men. Which title are you most proud of?

Jason: I am most proud of the title, Good Son to My Beloved Mommy.

To Stephanie: From Sylvie Montreal, I've read your bio and I see

that you traveled a lot, between USA and other countries, which

one impressed you the most?

Jason: Who did Sylvie sleep with to get two questions already?!

Stephanie: I used to love Italy the most...but recently I went to

France and I had a great time.

Mark: For a great time, call Stephanie...

Mark: I love the comedic edge you bring to the show. Will you be

doing more of that in the future?

Mark: No.

Stephanie: Both, at once.

Mark: Me first!

Jason: I'd just like to say that Stephanie was joking at this

point.

For Jason: CerealBoy: I heard that your father is a doctor and

your mother is a lawyer. Did they encourage you to follow in their

footsteps? Were they disappointed when you chose acting?

Jason: I think they're pretty much happy that I didn't end up in

jail.

Why is it that no one in Days is able to be honest and open with

those close to them?

Stephanie: We come from broken families... Dysfunctional. (haha)

Jason: I would answer, but that would be too honest and open.

just misunderstood?

Jason: He's definitely misunderstood...a bit misguided...a bit

misdirected...and a bit Ms. USA!

thespian, which enables me to do ALL martial arts.

Stephanie: ...and even a little brain surgery.

Jason: I have several copies.

Stephanie: I'd like to ask Andrew in KS, "Who is Laura?"

Jason: When I want to talk to my brother, I just give 'em a call.

Is it true that you are a graduate of West Point? Did you ever

intend to be a career soldier? If so, I'm glad you changed your

mind!

Mark: Yes, yes...the thought did cross my mind. But I got

bored.

Mark: Jack will be doing the Pentathalon...

Mark: I worked it out through NBC.

Jason: YES...but you'll have to check your local listings for

viewing times.

Stephanie: Who is the better kisser? Mark or Jason?

Mark: She's never seen us kissing...how would she know?

Jason: Jill, first of all, I would like to point out that this is

Jack, Jennifer and Peter... There is no Kristen or John in this

room... as to the 2nd part of your statement, eat me.

Mark: Jill, darling, I am sorry you had to experience that.

Mark: Stefano is a very evil man...I suppose probably, he would

blow them up, if he was really mad.

Stephanie: Jill, I'm sorry you had to witness both of those

statements and don't let anyone ever call you "darling" like that

Jason: Yes...and hopefully by Peter.

Stephanie: It sounds dramatic.

Mark: Jack will buy a motorcycle and get a tattoo like Bo.

JOB WITH THE PART OF JENNIFER. AT FIRST I WAS SKEPTICAL AS I HAVE

BEEN A FAN OF MELISSA REEVE'S FROM DAY ONE. I THINK THAT YOU HAVE

GREAT CHEMISTRY WITH JASON AND MARK. CAN YOU GIVE A HINT AS TO

wanted to know how many days of the week and hours you work on the set?

Stephanie: It varies...

years old and a big fan! i was just wondering how you got started

in acting and what advice do you have for aspiring actors? also,

Jason: First of all, you have to get proper training, proper

exposure, and hope that Mercury is in retrograde... As for Lucas,

I find him simply divine.

Mark: Margaret, keep your name...it's beautiful.

Stephanie: I agree.

Mark: Quit your day job, and go to L.A.

Why do the writers keep making Jennifer look so naive? No one can

be that blind of their husbands evil ways.

Stephanie: I wish Jennifer was working more!

things for the talk show.

Hi Jason, Stephanie & Mark! I was wondering if jennifer is going

to ever find out that Peter was involved with jude and if so how

does she find out

Jason: Just what do you mean "involved"?

Mark: She find's Jude's big toe in one of Peter's Hugo Boss

underwears.

Host NBCmike:

Marilyn, B.C.,LA Is Alice Horton feeling O.K. these days. it

appears that she does most of her roles sitting down.

I hope She is in good health!

Jason: Yes...she's doing much better all the time.

family. We are big fans of Days. You'd be surprised to know that I

am a 17 year old male, and have been watching Days for 11 years

now!

Mark: There are very few 17yr old males in America.

Jason & Stephanie, Do you find that peoples personalities on the

show reflect their personalities off of the show? Not meaning is

Stephano really evil. But for instance, does Jason really have a dark side

and Stephanie really as sweet as all that? How about Hope (Kristian

Alfonso) like she is on the show. I guess what I'm asking is their type

casting going on. What is Sami (Alison Sweeney) really like?

[By the way our NBC host says that they are CRAZY on the web! Calm

down cyberheads!!!!]

Jason: I would like to say...you shouldn't take bong hits when

you're online and...um, there were too many words in that

question, and I'm at a loss.

Mark: Ali Sweeney is a wonderful person.

Stephanie: Hope (Kristian Alfonso) is really cool..

All: Everyone is just fine and dandy to work with...

Mark: Except for Stefano, who tried to blow up my dressing room

with shaving cream and tortured Jason until he stopped laughing.

daily basis?

Jason: Yes, it would be...if we were learning them.

Mark: But Stefano keeps stealing my script and blowing it up.

does not like it. If you notice, I'm growing it back.

Mark: Unfortunately, the hair on his back will grow back twice as

thick.

favorite shows?

Mark: "Another World"

Jason: Anything on NBC.

Is the cast and crew aware of the Huge following "Days" has here

Mark: Were you really a model for Sears? I can't find any

confirming evidence but you sure look like the guy in the

commercial.

Mark: Yes...that was the last job I had before "Days"

Stephanie: Is Mark on trial?

Mark: But that was me playing the saxophone on top of the jeep.
