The latest information we have is that Paul has quietly married his longtime fiancee Julie Yeager sometime within the last 2 weeks! I'll post more details as we receive them.
You should also be able to catch Paul on this Thursday's episode of "Friends".
Very special thanks to Juan Carlos for providing this information. After a period of absence for a very long time, The Paul Rudd Fan page should be further updated soon.

Summer's now sadly coming near to it's end, but luckily we have some news about Paul....
The Off-Broadway run of "Bash" is now over. Reviews have been quite positive for this Neil LaBute play.
"200 Cigarettes" will be released on VHS and DVD in North America on August 31, 1999 by Paramount Home Video. Suggested Retail Price for the DVD is $29.99 (it may be cheaper depending on where you shop). The VHS version is priced for rental only (around $100). Be sure to rent or buy Paul's latest movie at Blockbuster, Rogers Video, Hollywood Video or your local video store!
For those of you who have laserdisc players, I believe the laserdisc ( catalog # LV 334933-WS) is also listed at $29.99 Good luck finding copies! For those in the Greater Toronto area, LaserLand in Mississauga or Sam The Record Man downtown may be able to get you a copy.
Those of you who have not been able to see Paul in the "Secret Smile" music video by Semisonic can now watch it! All you have to do is purchase the UK CD single #2 for "Secret Smile". It is an enhanced CD which has the video and other cool extras. The catalog # is MCSXD-40210 and is released by MCA Records UK. For those in Canada, I found my copy at the Virgin Megastore in Vancouver. You should also be able to purchase it at the Tower Records in downtown Toronto. Well, that's about it for now....take care everyone!
COOL NEWS! Paul will be in a new play!
Starting today, June 14, Paul will be appearing in a new Off-Broadway play called "Bash". It consists of 3 one-act plays all written by Neil LaBute, who made "Your Friends and Neighbors" and "In The Company Of Men". It stars Paul Rudd, Ron Eldard and Calista Flockhart.
"Bash" is supposed to be about "terrible things done by beautiful people". Sounds a lot like Neil's first two movies. Performances start June 14 and run until July 25 at the Douglas Fairbanks Theater in New York City. The opening night is on June 24.
Tickets cost $45 US and can be obtained from Telecharge at (212) 239-6200. Performances are at 8pm Monday to Saturday. There is also a 2:30pm show on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The Douglas Fairbanks Theater is located at 432 West 42nd Street in New York City.
For more information, please check out the "Bash" info page at Playbill Online.
I've had word from a couple of Paul Rudd mailing list members (you know who you are) who say the gossip being reported in the previous update is false. They know Paul and the gossip is just that...gossip. So there. :) I think I will be removing the link to the information soon anyways, as the info has not exactly been substantiated.
If you don't know by now, Paul is in a music video! He appears briefly in the new Semisonic video for "Secret Smile", which is one of my favourite songs of the last year. Dan, the lead singer of the band is being chased around by news crews. He and his girlfriend barge into a studio and cause a commotion. Guess who is one of the actors in the studio - Paul!
He is wearing a cowboy hat and a T-shirt that says "Film Star" on it. He then runs away with the actress he is practicing with. It is playing regularly on MuchMusic, MTV and the current May in-store trailers for Blockbuster Video in Canada.
A mailing list member reported to me that the mailing address for Paul c/o ICM is apparently incorrect. The mail sent to that address is being sent back and the agency says that they do not represent Paul. Hmmmm.....I'll be checking to see whether there is a better way to reach him...
Finally, "200 Cigarettes" should be coming to video soon in North America. That's about it for now!
I've updated the filmography and added a page for "200 Cigarettes". Just some basic info there. I'll be adding more pictures quite soon.
Oh, and someone on the mailing list sent a link to a webpage with some very interesting Paul Rudd gossip. Gossip that focuses on his love life. I don't really like putting up info that is not substantiated, but since this is a democratic society, I decided to put the information on a separate page. So, if you don't like to read tabloid journalism style gossip, you don't have to. But if you want to find out about the down and dirty details then go on to the not-so-secret-since-you-can-just-click-here-gossip page.

A very brief update this time around...
You can currently catch Paul in his latest movie release, "200 Cigarettes". It just opened in theatres across North America this past Friday. The movie is set on New Year's Eve, 1983. Paul plays a guy who has just been dumped by his girlfriend. His close friend, played by Courtney Love, sets out to cheer him up on the night before the new year. Throughout all this, there are many other characters whose stories interweave thoughout.
A kind list member passed on the news to me that Paul appeared in the February issue of "Twist" magazine. It's a magazine intended for a teenage audience, but apparently Paul has a full page picture.
Well, that's all for now...I'll keep you all posted as to the latest news on Paul, whenever we get any!
P.S. If anyone is interested, the soundtrack for "200 Cigarettes" is available now on CD. It features 80's hits from the Go Go's and many other groups. There are also a few 80's songs covered by 90's bands. Check it out!
Happy New Year, everyone! I trust that you all had a great holiday! There hasn't been any update for a while, since I've been really busy and also because there hasn't been much news on Paul....
First off, Paul appears in the current issue of "Interview" magazine (February 1999). He has a two page picture spread, plus a short interview. He has long hair and a beard in the pics, sort of like his role in Twelfth Night. Paul says that his personality isn't really like his characters in "Clueless" or "The Object of My Affection", but that he does have elements from both characters.
Paul also appears on the last page of the February issue of "Movieline". Apparently, he could be the love child of Lee Remick and Gene Kelly!
Also, "200 Cigarettes" will tentatively be released into theatres around February 26 or 28th, 1999. There are rumours that it could possibly be postponed to a later date, though.
Did you know that Paul was considered for the the role of Norman Bates in the new remake of "Psycho" by Gus Van Sant? Thank goodness he didn't get it! Imagine what that would be like.....
