Guardian Enzo Matrix

"Mercy? To a virus? Never!"

Enzo…the former "little kid" of Mainframe. Once he was carefree and had few worries, due mostly to the fact that he had the support and guidance of his mentor and father figure, Bob. His sister, Dot, also provided a stern, but gentile, discipline and structure to his life. Those days…are gone.

During Mainframes war with the Web Bob made Enzo a Guardian, with the hopes that, one day, he can travel to the Supercomputer to complete his training and gain ranks. That day never came. Bob was shot off to the Web due to a wicked double cross planned by Megabyte, and his sister Hexadecimal.

Enzo had now become the unofficial Guardian of Mainframe, much to the chagrin of the resident Binomes. To them he just isn't Bob, and they were not afraid to let him know it too. With Megabyte using propaganda to convince the populace of Enzos shortcomings, Enzo must prove himself as a strong system defender. With the help of his constant companion, AndrAIa, and his dog Frisket he was able to turn the tides on the viral menace and gain the confidence of the Binomes. Now with his newfound confidence Enzo, AndrAIa, and Frisket enter a game….Alone. They never come back. Game over…User wins. During that fateful game Enzo, AndrAIa, and Frisket reformat themselves and leave with the game, or face nullification.

Now Enzo is lost in the net, with no format and no sure way home. He lives in the games, and uses them to travel from system to system. He now wants only to be referred to as Matrix. His companions, AndrAIa and Frisket, provide support and help to remind him of what he once was. Brooding and short-tempered, a lifetime of games has somewhat hardened his outlook on the world. Though he still retains a sense of humor.

Over time Matrix had become ashamed of the little boy he once was, believing that small boy to be weak. Through the power of a dream he came to realize that in fact it was his present self who had become weak, who had become a prisoner of the games and who had let his brooding cloud his goals and ideals. Matrix realized that a part of him will always be little Enzo, and that sometimes-true strength lies in realizing that you can never deny your past, if you want to move forward.
