INTRODUCTION: Hello, everyone!  My name is Emmanuel Jones.  If any of you saw my name before like in the end of Cullen Pittman's first Poké-Odyssey series, then I'm one of the people who gave him some ideas.  Anyway, this my very first time in writing fanfiction, and I'm not that good in writing, either.  I'm much better in drawing.  Oh, and speaking of drawing, I hope you like my picture of Cameron and Sandy.  I'm thinking of making some title pages of the two series on Photoshop.  O.K., enough with the intros.  Let's get this story stared!  Before that, I better put this up.  I know that you don't like these things, but it's very important...

DISCLAIMER:  Poké-Odyssey and its characters are not mine.  They belong to Cullen Pittman.  "Poké-Odyssey: Next Generation" and its characters are created by Bellossom Boy, and--here's a shocker--"MTV Cribs" is created by--who else?--MTV.  I'm doing a mix of them.  This story takes place before Bellossom Boy's fic.  You can e-mail me comments about the segment, and you can flame me, too, just a couple of rules--no swearing in the messages, and don't flame me too much.  Like I said before, this is my first time in writing fanfiction and I'm not that much of an author.  Also, I'm putting this in script mode.  I'll give you a link of my e-mail address after this segment.  I'll play as narrator. Enjoy reading...I hope.

I'll give you the information about the underlined word(s) in the author's notes after this segment.

***********************************************************************

In one corner, there stood a middle-aged, muscular man with jet black hair

with spikes, a handsome but familiar face, wore a cap which is red on the

back half and white on the front with a marking on it, a black muscle shirt,

a pair of dark blue jeans with a black belt, and black and white sneakers.

He held a red and white sphere in his right hand with a pair of green

fingerless gloves on each hand as he holds it up to his face with his eyes

closed.  A few meters away, there stood a younger, not too muscular man

with straight blonde hair and emerald green eyes which concealed of glasses

while the lenses shine as the bright sun hits them.  He wore a white T-shirt,

a pair of lighter blue jeans with a brown belt, white sneakers, and a same,

familiar cap as the older man.  His face--which is familiar also--had shown

complete focus and determination while holding the same sphere in his right

bare hand.  With a light breeze blowing, the older man opened his eyes, and

if you look closer, he has clear brown eyes.

Older man:  Ready?

Younger man:  Ready!

In unison, both men twisted their hats to the back with their free left hands,

wind up their spheres as like they are pitchers in a baseball game, and as

they threw them...

Both men:  POKÉBALL, GO!!

The balls sailed through the air as they split open from the center and a

white light exploded within as the scene ends.

Me: (as narrator) Do you know these faces?  I'll give you a hint; one of

them is the star of a popular children's anime show and the main character

in some games in a company called Nintendo.  The other is a fan of it a

long time ago while living in Trenton, New Jersey, and still is.  That is

the difference of them.  What they have in common is they love these

creatures called Pocket Monsters, or Pokémon for short, they currently

lived in a small but peaceful town which was imprisoned by an evil

organization, and they develop a strong friendship with others and their

Pokémon, especially their first.  You're experiencing "Cribs" like never

before.  Welcome to "Cribs: Poké-Odyssey Style!"  First, we reach into

the cozy home of the star of the Poke-Odyssey series, Cameron Fusterman!

Cameron:  I know this is not that big of a house, but that's OK.  We are

trying to live like normal people, and you know the old saying, "Do not

judge a book by its cover."

Me:  Next, we take a look at the fantasy house of the one and only, Ash

Ketchum!

Ash:  After I won the Indigo League, I've always dreamed of living in a

nice house like my mom's.  All that training and winning has paid off, I

have more room than hers, and more bills to pay, but a least I have a job!

Me:  And last but certainly not least, we have seen a little bit of the Pallet

gym, but Ash and Cameron will give us the full scoop!

Cameron:  Our parents, Mrs. Ketchum, Ash, and I did a nice job with the

warehouse which transforms into a tough but pretty-looking battlefield,

and some photographer even gave us a huge blown-up picture of us as

statutes at the town hall.

Ash:  And on the floor below that mighty frame, you see what my mom

made this whole gym possible:  the Hero Badge.

There we see a pedestal with a small glass box on top of it.  Inside there's

a small, soft, red pillow, and on it is a round badge made out of felt, half

purple, half blue, and in the center of it is a big, red capital "H".

Ash:  We put it up on display so the trainers can see it, but they can't

touch it.  This is the same badge my mom pulled out from her purse.  We

asked the Indigo League committee to make copies them.  That badge there

is very special to us, and we keep it safe from harm.

Me:  Poké-Odyssey, we choose you!  This special edition of "Cribs" starts...

right now!

Then the "Cribs" theme music comes on and so is the views of some of the

celebrities' houses, but it's in a different title...

_______________________________________________________________________

The scene begins as the camcorder shows a medium-sided, two-story white

house with a small car porch on the left side, and some kind of vehicle

inside it.  Here is some info about this one..

3 bedrooms

2.5 bathrooms

a training room

a pool

a flower garden

Location:  Pallet Town

The front door opens and here to welcome us is none other than our blonde-

haired hero.

Cameron:  (does a short bow and a wave) Hello, everyone!  I'm Cameron

Fusterman.  (grins sheepishly or in Pokémon terms, Mareepishly, and put

his hand behind his back) Yes, I'm the hero of Pallet and Soy Town, and

Ryooku League champion.  Geez, I'm getting all the praise here.  (his face

back to normal and smiles a normal smile) Anyway, welcome to my house.

I know this is not that big of a house, but that's OK.  We are trying to live

like normal people, and you know the old saying, "Do not judge a book

by its cover."  Come on, I'll show you around.

As we entered into the house, a two-foot tall mouse Pokémon with sand

armor around its body ran down from the long stairway.

Pokémon: (jumps) Shrew!  (lands on Cameron's open arms) Sandshrew!

Cameron: Oh, I think we have another guide who shows us our house.  This

is my favorite, first, and toughest of all my Pokémon, Sandy. (to Sandy)

Say hi.

Sandy: (waves to the camera) Sandshrew!

Cameron:  He's the same Sandshrew--if you're wondering what kind of Pokémon

he is--that rescued me from the dungeon made by Team Rocket.  You probably

know them from the past "Pokémon" shows, but they're...um...different.  Sandy

and I became quick friends since that day.

Sandy:  (nods) Shrew.  (to Cameron) Sandshrew shrew!

Cameron:  Oh, right, the house.  We start by where you are standing on right

now:  the family room.

And it's a fairly large room with a living room group, a wall clock, a home

entertainment center and a wall-attached hat rack.

Cameron:  We have a 36-inch TV with VHS/DVD/CD combo, and large speakers

so it feels like you're going to the movies. Also a couch with recliners for

the family, some chairs for the guests, a table with small coasters for cups,

and on this cabinet we acquired lots of movies and music.

The camera shows a cabinet of four shelves filled with stuff.

Cameron:  On the top shelf we have music CDs of different styles:  classic,

alternatives, R&B, and some of Japanese pop which is a favorite for my

wife and one of my daughters.  The next two shelves are the family movies.

The first one are all DVDs from Disney like "Toy Story," to the Warner Bros.

like "Space Jam," and some anime movies including the winner of the Oscar

for Best Animated Feature, "Spirited Away."  Now, in the shelf below it are

tapes of the Walt Disney Masterpiece Collection.  It has "The Lion King," "101

Dalmatians," "The Jungle Book," "Lady and the Tramp," and more.  That's

a lot of movies, are they?  On the last shelf there are video tapes recorded

that we used for holidays and special occasions like Christmas, Thanksgiving,

New Year's, anniversaries, birthdays, vacations, anything.  We like to use

the camcorder a lot.

He walks toward the hat rack with a variety of hats.  He picks up a familiar

cap and puts it on his head.

Cameron:  (points at his hat) Is this hat familiar to you?  Yep, it's the

official Pokémon league expo-hat.  It was a thank you gift from a friend

of mine.  I wear it whenever we encounter Pokémon battles.  We also have

a straw hat--my wife wears it sometimes in hot, sunny days while gardening,

some visors for the children, and more hats for the year.

He took off his hat and puts it back as we follow him and Sandy to the next

room which is behind the stairs.

Cameron:  Next, we go to somebody says "the heart of the home,":  the kitchen.

The camera shows a room large enough for a nice dinette group, a refrigerator

/freezer, a sink, a dishwashing machine, a stove/oven/microwave combo, some cupboards,

and a large red octopus moping the floor with four mops in four of

its tentacles and the other four carrying buckets of water with some new

Don't Mop with Dirty Water Again Pine-Sol.

Cameron:  (points to it) Here's one of our "housemaids."  This is my

Octillery.

Octillery sees its trainer, tackles him affectionately, and starts kissing

him repeatedly with her snout.

Cameron:  (tries to push it away from his face) Hey, wait a minute!  Stop

kissing me, Octillery!  No, please!  Not in front of the camera! (he pushes

it out of his way and pants for two seconds) She does that to me every time

I come near her, but I got used to it.  It's kinda embarrassing to be in

front of other people.  Anyway, this room is spotless and grimeless thanks

to her.  (to Octillery) Thank you.

Octillery blushes as she’s rubbing the back of her head with one of her

tentacles, then goes back to work.

Cameron:  (to camera)  Let's see what's in the fridge.  (opens the door and

inside...) Well, there are some good food in here like fruits and vegetables,

some meat that I like, my kids love to drink Hi-C.  Some rice balls and

sushi--another of my wife and daughter favorites.  My wife is a natural in

Japanese cuisine, and I'm in All-American.  Here we have some apricorns

that came from Glory-Sue. (holds a white fruit that looks like a mix of an

apricot and a acorn) She's a friend of mine from Garlic Acres and one of

the Ryooku gym leaders there.  (to Sandy) You hungry?

Sandy:  (happily) Shrew shrew!

He grabs the apricorn from Cameron and munches on it.

Cameron:  Sandy loves them as much as he loves corn chips.  Now, that

small door leads to the laundry room.  There's another Pokémon helping

with some housework.  Let's meet him.

We follow him as he opened the door to a room big enough for a washer

and dryer, stacks of clothes from each family member on each bucket

(they have names on the buckets) and there was a pink Pokémon wearing

a red-and-white striped collar around his neck and a spiral-shaped crown

on its head folding the last set of clothes.

Cameron:  Here is my Slowking.  I called him Slowie.  (to Slowie) Hey,

Slowie, are you finished?

Slowie:  (in a wise but dopey voice) Hi, Mama.  I'm almost done.

Cameron:  (whispering to the camera so Slowie can't hear) He's calls me

mama because ever since he was a tiny Slowpoke, I saved him from a hungry

but deadly Fearow, and since I'm only thing he first sees, he thinks I'm his

mother.  It's really heartbreaking to tell him what was happening to his real

mother who was a Slowbro, but sooner or later, I have to let him know the

truth.  Oh, and did you notice that he can talk?  Well, after a few years, he

speaks pretty good English.  Not perfectly, but good.

Slowie:  I'm finished, Mama.

Cameron:  (in a normal voice to Slowie) Good job.  (to the camera) Now,

watch as he uses his psychic powers to lift the clothes in the air and puts

them in the buckets neatly folded.  (to Slowie again) OK, Slowie, show

them what you can do.

Slowie nods, and if by some force, the Slowking surrounds himself with

a blue aura as he lifted the clothes with his mind, and divides them as

he put them in the buckets neatly folded like Cameron says.

Cameron:  That was excellent as always, Slowie.

Slowie:  (blushes) Thank you, Mama.

Cameron:  (to Slowie and the camera) Follow me.

And we follow them out of the laundry room and into the kitchen once again.

Cameron:  (calling out to his Pokémon) Octillery, since you did great with

the kitchen, you deserve a break.  Sandy, if you're finished with that

apricorn, throw it in the garbage so you, Octillery, and Slowie can go to

the backyard.  (to the camera) Keep up with us.

Cameron opens the big sliding door which is next to the laundry door, went

down a couple of stairs, and we enter into an even bigger yard.  As big as

two acres, to be exact.

Cameron:  (to his Pokémon) OK, you guys can go to your resting spots.

(they split up as Cameron speaks to the camera)  This is my favorite place.

To my right there's a picnic table with a bench on each side.  I ordered in

the paint that can withstand any weather conditions:  rain, snow, ice, sleet,

hail, even in hot or cold temperatures.  It's as strong as steel.  Now, beside

the stairs behind me are two large lawn chairs.  (sat at the left one) It's

big enough for two people.  My wife and I usually sit on this one while

our two daughters sat on the right one.  Well, no time to lounge here.  I'll

do that after I show you the house.  (stands up and walks to the left) This

is the sandbox in what we called (quoting fingers) "Sandy's room."  It's

not too big and not too small, either.

He looked at his Sandshrew staring at a Sandshrew sculpture.

Cameron:  Sandy says this is the sculpture he made in Seafoam Island.  A

female one, in fact.  We mixed in sand and cement and it will hold that

way so he can look at it all he wants.  (to Sandy) Are you OK, buddy?

Sandy didn't respond to his trainer and becoming lost in that pretty statue

wishing it was a real female Sandshrew.  Cameron waved his hand at his

dazed friend, but Sandy didn't even flinch nor blink.

Cameron:  (to the camera) He's out of it.  (sighs) It's tough to be single.

I know that Pokémon do age like humans, but he's still young to me.  Don't

worry, he'll find his love someday.  OK, moving on.

We followed him as he walked about eight feet to a pool to the left filled

with Pokémon.

Cameron.  We have a Poké-pool here.  You already met Slowie and Octillery.

(points to a large blue squid with many tentacles) This is my wife's

Tentacruel...

Tenacruel:  (waving tentacles to the camera with a deep, fluid voice)

Tenta-cruel!

Cameron:  (points to a huge red crab) and Kingler.

Kingler:  (waves to the camera with a voice like the Cookie Monster) Co-king

co-king!

He walks a few more feet and we see a Pokémon with a pointed head kicking

nothing but air.

Cameron:  And here's her Hitmontop--training hard as always.

We follow him again until we see something so pretty, we don't see it often.

There's an arch door with some vines of roses and thorns on it, and around

it there's a long flower fence.  As we enter through it, the place is filled

with flower bushes almost everywhere and flowers planted in the ground.

We follow him as he walks through the walkway.

Cameron:  You can see an entire acre of my wife's flower garden.  She

plants lilies, dandelions, tulips, daisies, plums, roses, buttercups—

probably every flower in the world.  She got that inspiration from Mai

Goodness, the owner of the famous Bayleef Garden in Ryooku.  My wife

takes care of them everyday and protects them.  She even mixes bleach

with water so that will kill bacteria in the plants and they will live longer.

She thinks she wants to add some trees in here, but it will give or take 10

to 20 years to grow.

He stops near a small walkway to a huge, gorgeous flowered igloo with a

cave opening.

Cameron:  This garden is also the home of our plant couple.  (turns to

toward igloo speaking to someone) Hey, are two any decent in here?

Voice 1:  Vileplume!

Voice 2:  Bello!

Cameron:  (turns to the camera) They said it's OK.  (turns to the igloo

again) Why don't you come on out and introduce yourselves?

Out from their home, the two plant Pokémon are holding hands.  One of

them is almost four feet tall, blue-violet skin, and a huge red flower with

large petals on its head.  The other one is about one foot, four inches, has

two red smaller flowers on each side of its head, green skin, and a face

of a cute girl.  It wears a hula skirt made out of leaves.

Cameron:  This is my Vileplume, VP...

VP:  (waves to the camera) Vile!

Cameron:  And my wife's Bellossom.

Bellossom:  (does a curtsy) Bellossom bello bell!

Cameron:  Slowie and Octillery are the only Pokémon who spends most of

the time taking care of the house while the others stay at the gym.  Sandy

and VP are just visiting right now.  (pats VP) He's also wants to know how

his wife is doing.

VP:  (blushes and put his hand behind his petaled head and rubs it) Vileplume!

Cameron:  Yes, I did say wife.  They had a grass-type Pokémon wedding

somewhere in Pallet in a secret place so they won't be attacked by any

bug-type Pokémon.  Anyway, I've been through the garden a few times a

week because I'm allergic to flower nectar, but I took some medicine before

I went outside.

Unknown to Cameron and the plant couple, the camera shows somebody opened

the backyard door and a pair of black slippers and silk stepped in.

Cameron:  My wife said that we're a destined couple if both of our grass-

types are in love with other.  Those two have though everything together

outside their Pokéballs filled with love and affection.  Although Bellossom

misses VP very much when he's at the gym, they keep in touch by videophone.

They got married after that, and we like to show you a little surprise.

(talks to the plant couple) OK, you can bring them out.

They smile and nod.  They turned toward the igloo and...

Bellossom:  (shouts) Bello!

VP:  (also shouts) Vileplume vile!

They waited for five seconds...until...three miniscule radishes with the

same skin color as VP and leaves on top of their heads came out running

with little feet, but they have no arms.

Triplets:  Oddish oddish odd!

Cameron:  Yep, they have Oddish babies.  Very healty ones, too.

The figure got off the stairs and walks toward the garden.

Cameron:  If I remember from my Pokédex, an average Oddish should be the

height of 1'11".  Just let them grow a few more inches and they well be

learning some attacks from their "parents."

VP/Bellossom:  (blushing uncontrollably) VILE/BELL!

Cameron:  (to them) Hey, it's true.  Look, if it's embarrassing to you, I

won't tease you again.  Deal?

VP/Bellossom:  (nods) Vile/Bell.

The figure stops a few feet from Cameron and the Pokémon.

Cameron:  (patting all the Oddish) Just look at those little guys.  Aren't

they adorable?

Female voice:  (with a Japanese accent) Hai, but the most adorable one is

you, Came-chan.

He smiled.  He knew who made that soft, beautiful voice and the only one

who called him that pet name.  He turned his head around to see a wonderful

Asian woman at the age of 30.  She wears a pink and lavender kimono with

white flower designs, a black belt snug tightly around her waist to show a

slim and sexy figure, and sleeves about five or six inches from her wrists

while carrying two big, heavy plastic bags on her arms.  She has the most

beautiful face in the anime world with ruby red eyes, an angelic smile, long,

charcoal black hair tied to a braid, and golden skin which is almost shining.

For an added effect, cherry blossoms flutter around her.

Cameron:  Here's my little Moonray.  Everyone, this is my lovely wife coming

near our tenth year anniversary, Reiko Yudoku.

Reiko:  (bows to the camera) Konichiwa.  I hope you're enjoying our home and

my little garden.  (to her husband) Hi, Came-chan.

Cameron:  Hey yourself.  Do you need any help?

Reiko:  Oh, no, I have everything under control--whoops!

She accidentally drops the bag on his feet.  Cameron led out an "ow" in

a little voice.

Reiko:  (drops the other bag on the ground and runs to him) Oh, my gosh!

Are you alright?

Cameron:  (with pain shown on his face, his voice back to normal and smiles)

Yeah.  No problem.

Reiko lifted the bag off his feet and massages his feet from through his

sneakers.

Reiko:  Gomen.  Your mother will punish me for hurting you.

Cameron:  I'm OK.  I've been in a lot more pain during our past journey.

What's inside those bags...

He stopped as he saw the words on the bags:  Xanadu Nursery.

Cameron:  (shakes his heads while smiling)  More fertilizer--I should

have known.

Reiko:  (smiles at him) So, my plants need more food, you know?

Cameron:  I know, and I suppose you have some for the little ones, too?

Reiko:  (holds a smaller paper bag out from of nowhere) It just so happens

I do.

She kneels down, opens the bag, and poor out some Pokémon food on the

floor small enough for the Oddish to chew.  The three babies make happy

noises as they nibble through the food.

Cameron:  So how did you do on that greenhouse?

Reiko:  The usual--I stepped in, Floirnda and Potter greeted me, we talked,

and then I bought two bags for the price of one.  (holds Cameron's face)

This garden is my life, but so are you.

She leans in and...

Cameron:  (holds her back) Uh, don't you think we should kiss some another

time?  We're on TV here.

Reiko:  I can't wait.  (seductively drawing circles on his chest with her

finger and removing his glasses while staring into his handsome eyes) Like

the Farfetch'd who feels lost without its leek, I feel so alone without you.

Besides, I want to show the camera how much we love each other.

Cameron tries again, but her sweet lips upon his stopped him in his tracks.

She kissed gently, waiting for her husband to surrender.  Try as he might,

Cameron just can't resist the love spell his "Moonray" has cast on him.

He wanted to push her away, but Reiko's soft, strong arms might break his

back.  So, he did the only thing he can do--he responded and deepened the

kiss.  VP and Bellossom smiled silently at their trainers.  The humans

shared a bliss like they do.  The Vileplume told his wife to stay with the

kids and then the petal Pokémon told the camera to follow him.  He ran

to the sandbox one minute later because he has shorter feet than the humans.

He looked at his Sandshrew friend still gazing at the sculpture.  He waved

his fingerless hand in front of Sandy's face, but it was useless.  He went to

the rodent's side and...

VP:  (shouts) VILEPLUME!

VP's big mouth into Sandy's ear didn't work, either.  He has one more idea.

He's stepping back about three feet and...

VP:  (running towards Sandy) Vile...PLUME!!

He slams Sandy so hard the mouse Pokémon skid out of the sandbox and back

to his senses.

Sandy:  (angrily at VP) Shrew shrew, sandshrew sandshrew?!

He's asking VP why did he do that.

VP:  (apologizes to him) Vileplume!

Then VP told Sandy that he has been looking at the sculpture for so long

he lost track of his trainer.  The two Pokémon ran and found him and his

wife still in the garden.  Cameron and Reiko have stopped kissing, but

they’re holding close and staring at one another.  Sandy lifted one of

Cameron's pants leg until he sees some skin and then...

Cameron:  (screaming) YOW!!!

He pinched Cameron with his sharp claws.  The emerald-eyed trainer looks

down at his Sandshrew with closed eyes and a mix of a sigh and a moan came

from his mouth, shaking his sandy head.

Cameron:  (put his glasses back on with a small smile) Well, welcome back,

Sandy, and thanks for bringing me back.

Sandy:  (shows the victory sign for him) Shrew!

Cameron:  (to his wife) Sorry, Moonray, but I have to continue to show them

(to the camera) the house.

Reiko:  (to Cameron with a sad smile) I understand.  (went to Sandy to pat

his head as he wags his tail) I know how impatient Sandy-san is.  I'll be

working in the garden, anyway.

Cameron:  See ya later.

He kissed her one more time and speaks to Sandy.

Cameron:  How about a race back to the house?

Sandy:  (nods) Shrew!

Cameron:  (to his wife and the Pokémon) Bye, guys.

They ran towards the door.  Reiko giggles at her husband beautifully.  For

ten years, he is older and more sweeter, but he's still a kid at heart.

Either way, her love for him grows every single day, just like her lovely

garden.

Meanwhile, back at the kitchen...

Cameron:  Good race, Sandy, but we need to work on your speed.  You need

to be a little quicker if you want to dodge those nasty water attacks.

Sandy:  (pants heavily and lays down on the ground) Sand-shrew-sand-shrew...

Cameron picks up his winded friend.

Cameron:  Why don't you rest right here?  There you go. (to the camera) OK,

we've seen the family room, the kitchen, the backyard.  Next, we have a

little library.

We follow them to the room from the right of the kitchen.  It has a computer

cabinet in the center of it with a computer system--a monitor, keyboard, a

cordless mouse with mouse pad, a CPU with modem, and a four-in-one color

printer/copier/scanner/fax machine--a cabinet filled with books, and one top

of it is the a small, handmade hook and lash with a cross and it's held on a

small stand.

Cameron:  (pats the computer) Believe it or not, the Internet has some

Pokémon web sites in here, and there're some anime sites, too.  (walks

to the other cabinet) This is our library cabinet.  We've collected a lot of

books here.  The top shelf is mine.  (took out a pocket-sized book) This

is a mini-Pokémon anime album from the past shows.  It's a good thing I

showed this to Misty, Brock, and Mrs. Ketchum for the first time or else

they think of me as some kind of nut and they probably sent me to an asylum.

The next shelf is Reiko's.  She read some American culture and a lot of

Japanese works.  The last two shelves are my daughters.  One of them reads

all-American like I am and the other is like Reiko--some US, more Japan.

He took out the cross and looks at it with a sad face.

Cameron:  (speaks slowly) I do not know how many "thank you’s" I'm saying

to Reiko.  I said it time and time again, but it's still not enough.  I asked

her to make a cross not just for me, but to my late father--my real father.

I remembered it like it was only yesterday.  While I was 13, the members

of the Pallet Rebellion and I were going to the Saffron City gym, and I was

about to challege Sabrina for a Marsh Badge.  She was spooked when she

saw me thinking that I'm not from this world.  She was right; I'm came from

the real, unanimated Earth in Trenton, New Jersey.  She put her hands on face

showing me and everyone else an image of my old hometown.  Lord, I'm missed

that.  She forgave me and then she made it up, as I requested her to see how

my dad's doing since I haven't seen him for weeks.  (sniffs and eyes

watering) She puts her hands on my face again... (sniffs again as voice

breaks) and then...and then... there's this huge traffic jam in the highway...

and in the middle there's a car wreck and one of them looks like my dad's.

Then some medics rolled somebody in the stretcher... and I saw in fear who

was on it.  I couldn't believe it at first, but then...a medic came to a

policeman...and then...he said those seven words that never left in my mind.

(pauses for about seven seconds as tears comes out) "I'm sorry.  But this

man is dead."  (sobs softly for ten seconds) My father--the only family I

have in the world... gone...forever...just like my real mother.  She died

while I was only two.

He cries some more for almost a minute.  He knew and feared what will

happen to his father since his mom died, and he will be homeless and without

a family.  The kind-hearted boy's fears came true; he will be all alone in his

hometown with a bunch of strange people and traffic all around him.  It pains

him just thinking about it.  He felt something hugging his leg.  He looked

down and saw Sandy with tears in his eyes, too, remembering he and his

Poképals comforting their sad trainer.  Cameron picked up his first Pokémon

and hugged him tight, but not too tight.

Cameron:  Thank you, Sandy.  At least I'm not alone on this.  (continues

with the story) Anyway, that was the most traumatic day of my life.  Sabrina

gave me a room so I can be alone to cry.  I haven't spoken or eaten for three

days straight.  With a little support of my friends... (rubs Sandy's head)

and some food, Sabrina used her psychic power to give me the news for the

future if I went back to the real world.  It will be a gruesome one, and I

get shot and die at age 31.  Shocking, isn't it?  So I made an important

decision, and I'm willing stay in the Pokémon world.  After I won the Marsh

Badge, when we get rid of Team Rocket, Jenny--who's my adopted mother now—

will make me a citizen in Pallet.  Soon, their whole evil organization, their

former boss Giovanni, and the psychic-menace Mewtwo are no more.  The ooze

from Mewtwo started to bubble and I thought it was he was coming back for

revenge, and when it comes out it's none other then the legendary Mew.  He

told us in the past he was captured by Giovanni, and he and his scientists

experimented him making Mew into Mewtwo.  We freed him and he repays us

to make Pallet Town back to its beautiful, peaceful place.  That's one of the

miracles we've seen... (smiles) and then another one happened.  Mew had a

message from me from heaven, and there's my real dad as an angel.  He knew

about the car accident I saw, the world I live in, and my future in the real

world.  He told me to treat my new family right, eat my vegetables, read the

bible... (taps at the big book on the furthest left of his shelf) every night

and pray, and always think of him in any future Pokémon journeys.  After

a couple years, we're off to Ryooku for yet another journey; Jessie, James,

and Meowth returned with a vengeance; met and joined Tracey on our quest;

reunited with Reiko--who was my girlfriend at that time; saw new Pokémon

and caught some, met some friendly people and their Pokémon; I battled eight

tough gym leaders; and I won the Ryooku League.  Several months later, we

saved Soy Town--which is in Ryooku again if you're wondering--from Team

Rocket with help from our of our friends like Leo Patra, second gym leader

from the Wasabi Desert; Taki Otaku, the one who escaped from her hometown;

and the three legendary beast brothers:  Entei, Suicune, and Raikou.  During

the Soy Town freedom celebration, a helicopter from the Indigo League comes

down while the pilot was Nurse Joy.  My dad wanted me to be a librarian when

I grow up, but for my heroics, I have been assigned to one half of the gym

leaders in Pallet.  (looks up at the sky) Dad, I dedicate this mini-library

to you, and you gave me strength during the gym battles.  Whether I win,

lose, or draw, I will never give up, give the trainers good sportsmanship,

and I continue to make you proud.  (kisses the cross and held it to his

heart) I always love you and miss you, Dad.

He puts it back on the stand, took off his thin glasses, and wipes the tears

off his blurry, green eyes.

Cameron:  (sniffs) Sorry, everyone.  I always do that when I was reflecting

my memories, and I also apologize for taking so long.  Maybe if we see

Mew again, he'll let me speak to Dad more and probably Mom, too.  It's

been too long since I've seen her; I wonder what she looks like and also

if she still remembers me.  I miss her so much as I miss Dad.  (puts his

glasses back on) OK, we're done the library, and in this door is the

smallest bathroom.  Here, I show you.

He walks to couple feet from the cabinet, opens the door and...

Cameron:  See?  Just a small room with a toilet, some tissue, a sink, a

mirror, some hand soap, and a towel.  This is where I usually go after I

went home from the gym before dinner time.

He closes the door and he speaks to Sandy.

Cameron:  Are you ready to go upstairs?

Sandy:  (nods) Shrew sandshrew.

Cameron:  (to the camera) OK, follow us to the second floor.

We follow them back to the family room, ran up the stairs into the small

hallway with four doors--two on one side, two in the other.  They approached

the nearest one on the right.

Cameron:  This enters my daughters' room.  Right now they're in school and

they graduate when they are ten.  The reason that soon is because the school

can let the students to be off on their Pokémon journeys.  They have to take

a Pokémon license test first.  If they pass, they will leave after the

graduation.  If they fail, they stay in school for one more year.

Cameron opens the door and he, Sandy, and the camera follows.  It's a

medium-sized room with bunk beds, some windows, a tall dresser drawer,

and a desk with these essentials:  a 15-inch TV, VCR, a 10 x 16 (in inches)

boombox, a small videophone, a digital alarm clock, and a CD holder that

hold 36 CDs.  The walls are painted in big, horizontal lines of purple and

sand brown with frames with sketches anime pictures all over.  Cameron

takes out on of the many pictures of his daughters--it's located on the back

of the door--and shows it to the camera.

Cameron:  These are my daughters.  They're twins, but they have the looks

from us.  The one on the left with glasses on is Cindy and the other one

who’s younger by 12 minutes is Yuffie.  Yuffie likes her hair long, but

Cindy's more of a tomboy.

He puts the picture back on the door and speaks as the camera looks around

the room.

Cameron:  They did everything together, shared together--except their beds,

they went to the same school, and they love each other very much like real

sisters should.  I'm not sure if they argue or not, but if they do, that

shows how much they care.  They're eager to go on a journey.  They knew

all of the Pokémon in Kanto and some in the Johto region.  Cindy is going

to be like me--the greatest Pokémon master this world ever seen and Yuffie

is going to capture as many grass and fighting-type Pokémon as possible.

Seeing after her mother loving and taking great care of the plants and her

Bellossom, Yuffie also has an interest in fighting types and she have her

ninja skills to prove that she is as much of what Reiko said "kunoichi" as

her mother.  Now, as they start packing, they bring some clothes, their food,

some money--it's a good thing the Pokédexes has Pokédollars in them--some

Pokémon and medical supplies, a couple of portable CDs holders, and Cindy's

CD walkman so they lend it to each other so they can listen to music while

traveling.  Speaking of music, let's take a look at some of the CDs they

bought.

He and Sandy walk towards the CD holder.

Cameron:  The top half are Cindy's and she music from Britney Spears, Hilary

Duff, and Avril Lavigne.  She also collected Kidz Bop albums 1-4 and she's

thinking of buying a Beyoncé album and a Kidz Bop 5.

Cameron took out one of the CD cases from Cindy's half and holds it toward

the camera.

Cameron:  This is Nelly Furtado's second album, I think.  It's called

"Folklore," and Cindy told me that her theme song is in the ninth track

right here:  "Powerless."  I heard her sing that one almost everyday.

He puts it the CD back in and took another one out.

Cameron:  And this is the teen pop music group called Dream.  Cindy listens

to it almost all the time.  I heard her singing this track here.  It's called

"Crazy" featuring Loon. (Quick author's note:  I know the album "Reality"

isn't here yet, so I made in the Pokémon world.) She dedicates this song to

the one she's crazy about, Max, who is the son of Ash Ketchum--my hero,

my co-gym leader, and my best friend.

Sandy:  (to Cameron) Sandshrew!  Shrew sandshrew shrew?

Cameron:  (to Sandy and chuckles) Oh, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.  Sorry.

My best human friend.

Sandy:  (jumps on Cameron's arms, licks his face, and hugs him) Shrew shrew.

Sandy does love Cameron not only as his trainer, but his best friend in the

whole world.  There's just no one to replace this bond of friendship, trust,

and teamwork between human and Pokémon as that blond-haired kid--now in

a not-too-much-older body.  They did everything together from their Kanto

journey to where Sandy hangs out with Cameron in their quest in Ryooku

out of his Pokéball, and he's even been the ring bearer on Cameron and

Reiko's wedding.

Cameron:  (back to the camera) Well, the only problem for her is that she

didn't have the courage to admit her feelings towards him.  Maybe she will

when she's a little older, but she can't bottle it up forever. Continuing on,

the right side belongs to Yuffie and she has more J-pop than US songs.

For training, she uses fast-pace songs, and for her mediation or cool down,

she either leaves the music alone or puts on some soft music.  When they

come back from their journey, we're planning a surprise welcome home party,

and we're giving them a karaoke system as a present.

The camera shows some anime drawings.

Cameron:  My daughters' favorite subject is art.  They have different kind

of arts in the school.  Cindy is a pretty good singer, but she's the best in

drawing pictures.  She has drawn from the girls of "Sailor Moon" to the

boys on "Dragonball Z" and other anime shows like "Cardcaptors," "Ruroni

Kenshin," Tenchi and the girls, "Yu-Gi-Oh!," and more.  She also drew us

as a family, Reiko and I, some of herself and Yuffie, her friends from school

and not from school, and a self-portrait.  (camera shows a pretty sketch of

Cindy without her glasses which made it even prettier) She has four favorite

Pokémon on the walls:  Sandshrew being #1...

Sandy:  (proudly beats his chest) Sand-shrew!

Cameron:  Pikachu at #2 and a tie between Teddiursa and Eevee in third.  Her

sister, by the way, has a voice of an angel.  Yuffie sings in a beautiful

soprano, both in Japanese and American.  She learned herself to sing when

she was about five or six years old and she's a quick study.  I think we have

daughters who have skills as Pokémon trainers and talent in the future.

Well, that's their room and we're heading to the second bathroom.  (to Sandy)

You're coming with me, buddy?

Sandy:  (shaking his head really fast) Shrew shrew!

Cameron:  Oops, I always keep forgetting--you're not comfortable around

water.  Sorry about that.

Sandy:  (nods) Shrew sandshrew.

Cameron:  (to the camera) Right this way.

We follow him to a door opposite of their room.  He opens the door and it

shows...

Cameron:  It's similar to the first one, but it has a little more room for a

small tub with a shower.  I'm sorry there isn't much to see here.  Don't

worry.  Once you see our third, you'll be either surprised or jealous, but

not too jealous, please.

He closes the door and calls out his Sandshrew.

Cameron:  Hey, Sandy, come on.  We're going to the guest room.

Sandy:  (runs to his trainer/friend) Sandshrew.

We follow at the second door on the right side. Cameron opens the door

and inside it is a room as the same size as the girls'.

Cameron:  We have a queen size daybed, a 24-inch TV, a small glass table

for food and/or drink, and a small shelf filled with books on the side wall.

Ash and Misty--which is his wife now for 11 years--have been our house

lots of times, and sometimes they spend the night in this room.  Not only

it's their "spend the night" room, but I'm not sure if Reiko and I are having

another baby.  If we do, it's his or her room.

They left the room and they walk toward the final door.

Cameron:  This is my and Reiko's bedroom.  I think this is where the fun

really starts.

The door opens to a room big enough for a large window covered with

curtains and a long, beautiful red certain sheet with little golden Japanese

words on it, a tall and wide dresser in four drawers, a huge, thin black TV

and DVD system on one side and on the another is a king size bed and night

stand with a regular-sized videophone and alarm clock on top of it.  There's

someone on the bed and that someone is...

Cameron:  (surprised) Reiko?  What are you doing here?

Reiko:  (smiles flirtatiously) Is your mind the speed of a Slowking, Came-

chan?  Not yours, I assume.

Cameron:  I guess time went by while I'm touring.  You're done with the

garden already?

Reiko:  (nods) Hai.  (get off the bed and approached him) So, are you done

with the house?  Since our daughters are away, we have plenty of time so

I can spend with you.

Cameron:  Just let me to this room and wait, OK?

Reiko:  (sighs discouraged) All right.

Cameron:  That's my girl.

He rewards his wife with a quick but passionate kiss for her patience and

love.

Cameron:  Take a look at the ceiling.  (camera looks up)  On either side of

the fan you see the America and Japanese flags.  They did not have any kind

of those flags any stores in this world, so I drew the flags the best way I

can and after that, the carpenter copied and painted them.  Those flags are

from the real world.  (camera back to the couple) We made this room half

America, half Japan.  I didn't know it looks this nice--the windows, the

plasma TV, the DVD system, a dresser filled with normal clothes, and this.

He pulls out a DVD video case from a holder on top of the dresser.

Cameron:  "Princess Mononoke"--our favorite movie.  We watched it while

we were in our honeymoon on Seafoam Island.  When I watched the wild girl

chewing some meat and fed to the hero who got injured, I did not have a

chance to watch the rest of the movie because of (points to Reiko) her.

Reiko:  (smiles flirtatiously again) Oh, are you talking about the piece of

bread I gave you from my mouth to yours and then, for the first time in our

lives, we...

Cameron:  (covers her mouth with his hand while blushing uncontrollably

with lots of anime sweatdrops covering his face) Uh, Reiko, not in front of

the camera, please!

Sandy:  (scraches his head in confusion) Shrew? Sandshrew shrew?

He remembered when Cameron told the story about the honeymoon, but his

trainer didn't say what happen to himself and his wife about their

unforgettable night.

Cameron:  Besides, we're going to our master bathroom next.

We follow Cameron as he opens the door towards a large bathroom while he

went inside and gives us the details.

Cameron:  We have two sinks in one table, a long line of vanity mirrors and

they double as doors for medicine cabinets, a clean toilet--thanks to

Octillery--and (points at something) this.

He points at nice, big tub.

Cameron:  It's a size of a small Jacuzzi, enough for two people.  Reiko and I

went to this tub in some nights if we have time. Sometimes we take bubble

baths.  (blushes) Reiko does look very sexy in a tub filled with bubbles, and

when she even took off her braid, she looks like an Asian goddess.

He closes the door and walks toward his wife and his best friend.

Cameron:  (to Reiko) Well, Moonray, you have the control of the camera

now.  You want the fans to show something, right?

Reiko:  (Yep, that smile again) Like us in a romantic embrace?

Cameron:  (blushes again) I meant in the basement.

Reiko:  Oh, I see.  (to the camera) Follow us.

We follow them out the second floor back to the family room.  From there

she opens a small trap door on the floor near the stairs.  They walk down a

smaller stairway and she turns on the light.  We're in a room filled with

dumbbells, weapons, and a large wrestling mat.

Reiko:  This is our training room.  I insisted my Came-chan and our daughters

to exercise and learn the martial arts.  We have dumbbells to strengthen our

arms, a wresting mat to endure our bodies, and learn how to use these weapons.

Came-chan masters the bo staff, Yuffie wields the daggers, and I fully have

control the weapons like my katana and sai.  I own a small metal shop so I

can create these weapons.  This is for a physical workout.  For mediation I

lit some candles that the smell relaxes the body, turn the lights off, and

form a circle as we sat in Indian style.

Cameron:  Besides me and the family, the training room, and her garden,

Reiko dreams of owning a martial arts dojo for people and Pokémon.  She

does not know how, though.

Reiko:  (sadly) I do not know the location or how I run it.

Cameron:  (putting his hand on Reiko's shoulder) Don't worry about it,

Moonray.  You know it when the time is right.  Remember, you're not alone

in this.  You have all our support.  (to his best friend) Right, Sandy?

Sandy:  (rubbing Reiko's leg) Sandshrew sandshrew shrew.

Cameron:  (looks deeply on Reiko's red eyes) Don't give up on your dreams;

they might come true someday.  You married me, you have two beautiful girls,

and you made a big, beautiful garden.  You made those fantasies into

realities.  Let's make this one, too.  Is that a promise?

Reiko:  (smiles a real, normal smile this time with tears of joy running from

her eyes to her lovely cheeks) I swear on my ninja's honor I will make this

work.  You said it time and time again, but it always makes me feel better.

Arigato, my love.

Cameron:  (smiles while wiping her tears) Always being the pleasure.

They give each other a small, soft kiss and then the beautiful kunoichi

kneeled down and kiss the top of the head of her husband's Sandshrew.

Reiko:  (smiles) You, too, Sandy-san.

Sandy:  (blushes and nods) Shrew sandshrew sandshrew.

And they left the training room.

Cameron:  (to the camera) There's one more thing I like to show you guys

outside.  Come on.

We fellow the threesome out the front door and walk towards a green mini-

van inside the car porch.

Cameron:  This is the family car:  the Kia Sportage.  Reiko picked this one

for a reason.

Reiko:  (to her husband, blushing) It has the same green color as your

emerald eyes, Came-chan.

Cameron:  (smiles shyly) Uh...that's true.  (back to the camera) Anyway, we

use this SUV if we want to go to a restaurant, go on vacations, or whatever.

I use my Crobat, Batty, for transportation to the gym and back.

Cameron took out a Pokéball from his belt.  It's a size of a marble, but once

he presses the button in the middle, the ball expands into a size of a

baseball.  He pressed the button again, the ball splits open, and a flash of

white light explodes from the ball.  The light form something tall and it

reveals a 5'11" tall purple bat with yellow eyes and dark pupils, a toothy

mouth, and a wing from each corner (actually the two on the top are longer

than the two on the bottom).  Around its waist is a rope tied like a belt and

on the other end is a heavy boulder on the ground.

Cameron:  (to his Pokémon) Say hi, Batty.

Batty:  (bows at the camera) Crobat.

Cameron:  (back to the camera) She spends most of the time in her Pokéball

because she didn't like the sun too much nor she stays in the gym with the

other Pokémon.  I tied the rope from her waist to the boulder which is twice

her weight.  We started from small rocks and move it up.  It was hard at

first, but it's good for her training.  Once we took off her "training belt,"

she flies farther and faster than normal.  Nurse Joy gave me some vitamins

that I can put into her food so that Batty can recover her stamina quickly

after her long, hard flights.

Here's the recap:  we saw the family room; the kitchen; the laundry room;

the backyard including Sandy's sandbox, the Poké-pool and Reiko's garden;

the mini-library; the smallest bathroom; Cindy and Yuffie's room; the bigger

bathroom; the guest room; Cameron and Reiko's bathroom; the master bathroom;

the training room; and finally the car.

Cameron, Reiko, and their Pokémon are gathered in the front yard.

Cameron: Well, we enjoyed showing the house to you.  We thank you for being

here with us, it's been fun.  Now, we're waiting for the school bus for our

daughters.  I think this is where you’re leaving.  See you around.

Reiko: (bows to the camera) Sayonara.

Sandy:  (waves) Sandshrew!

Slowie:  (also waves) Bye-bye.

The Pokémon say goodbye in their language as the camera started to back

away slowly from the house.  We wait for a few seconds and then Octillery

affectionately tackles Cameron again by surprise, then Reiko joins in, and

the Pokémon take him down the grass playfully.

Cameron:  (straining and mumbling) Hey, guys, can you please get off of me?

Reiko:  (wines playfully) But we want to play with you, Came-chan.

Cameron:  But aren't we supposed to wait for Cindy and Yuffie?  They might

come in any minute.

Reiko:  (smiles flirtatiously again) Then we must make every second count.

Reiko kisses Cameron and he deepened it with more passion.  The Pokémon

looked and sighs happily at the married couple as they leave them alone and

go back to do their tasks as the scene faces to black.

The scene shows "coming up..." with a huge house in the view.

Me:  (as narrator) We'll see how the Pokémon master and his family made a

living in this house...after the break (or wait for the next chapter).

***********************************************************************

End of "Cameron's Crib."

Thanks for reading my one of three parts of the story.  Now for the words

that they are underlined.

1. "The kitchen is the heart of the home" is on a rug my mom brought.

2. I heard from a game show called "Hollywood Squares" that when Japanese

people wear kimonos with sleeves about five or six inches from the wrists,

they're officially married.

3. Kunoichi is Japanese for "female ninja" or "girl assassin."  Reiko is more

of a girl assassin when she joined Team Rocket.

4. I'm not certain that the currency in the Pokédexes are called Pokédollars.

I have not play the game much and I did not pay much attention to the

Pokédollar sign.  If anybody knows what it looks like, and if the sign comes

before or after the numbers, e-mail me, please.

5. A katana is a Japanese sword that has a single edge and is slightly curved

toward the point.

6. A sai is a small trident.  For Cullen, Bellossom Boy, and the readers, if

you seen "Teenager Mutant Ninja Turtles," these are the weapons Rapael use.

He has two; Reiko, on the other hand, has one.

My e-mail address EJONES914@aol.com.  Use something with "story" or "Cribs"

on the subject.  I have a lot of junk mail and am planning to delete them for

good.  I'll be back for the next part soon.  It might take a while because I

only go on the computer or Internet in the weekends.  If I make any spelling

errors, grammar, or punctuation, let me know.
