Prior to beginning his role as Billy The Kid, Emilio Estevez visited Lincoln, New Mexico, the town where Billy wreaked so much havoc, to get a greater sense of his character. During the course of filming, all the actors became accomplished riders, practicing gun~twirling, knife~throwing & falling backwards off horses until it seemed like second nature.
The Regulators ride again! Billy the Kid(Estevez), Josiah "Doc" Scurlock (Sutherland), José Chavez y Chavez (Phillips), Arkansas Dave Rudabaugh (Slater) and two new recruits: Tom O'Folliard & Henry William French are on the run. Gov. Wallace vowed to take down the Regulators ....... however, the Kid isn't ready to go. To add to the Kid's problems, a member of his gang ~ Pat Garrett (Petersen) is paid to eliminate him.
