Borrowed Hearts- A Holiday Romance
Original airing: November 30, 1997, CBS
Reruns on Lifetime
Roma Downey (Touched By An Angel) plays Kathleen Russell, a poor single mother. A neighber tells her daughter, Zoey, to listen for music when none is playing. That means an angel is in the room. Zoey makes a prayer that an angel will come and bring her father, who left six months earlier, back home. When Zoey runs into a house that looks exactly like her dollhouse, it turns out to be the home of Kathleen's boss, Sam. Sam wants to make a deal with a man who only deals with family men, Mr. DelCampo (Hector Elizondo), and he asks Kathleen and Zoey to play the role of his family. Kathleen agrees, because she needs the money that is offered to her. When Mr. DelCampo arrives, Zoey becomes convinced that he's an angel because she always hears the music when he's near. This is an awesome story that will bring your family together. It teaches a man how to love, a woman to trust again, and daughter to let go of her father. And then that nothing is more important than love.
