News for 02/16/99Well. It's been a while since I've updated here. Like more than 6 months. Can you tell I've been busy?? The big news is that VND is now 1 year and 1 day old!!! Wow. This site started as a joke, and I thought it would maybe last the duration of last February. Wrong! Thanks to EVERYONE (and this means YOU - yes, you!)who has helped to make this a success. We appreciate your patronage and the fact that even though you've had waits lately to get your dates back you still like the site! For some of you who are new, I need to explain that this is not a particularly "professional" site - everything is done manually (we don't have a server somewhere that processes things automatically - I'm a Mass Comm major, not a Computer Science geek!), and that takes a bit of time. We really appreciate not only your patience, but also the necie comments we've gotten. :c) And Happy Be-lated Valentines Day!
News for 07/07/98
Whew. I think we are LONG overdue for an update here! Sorry it took so long, I just happened to be going over the site last night when I realized I hadn't done anything with this bulletin board lately. I do have news this time, which is to announce that the VND staff has expanded quite a bit. As you can tell from the previous posts on this page, I was complaining about the work overload from all the dates we've had requested. I finally did something about it and recruited help. As a result, VND now has 5 Assistants to the Director (the Director being me), and they are Toshie, Matchbox, Marisol, Luana, and Patches. Sarah/Itey/Grif will be helping to write some new dates for us. Check out our bios in the Lounge to find out a little more about the driving forces behind this site. :c)
