The Hottest Love Stories on Daytime Soaps
by Connie Passalacqua
One Life to Live. Couple: Max Holden and Megan Gordon... Think: Punch
and Judy. Max is a hunky bar owner on this ABC soap and Megan is a beautiful soap
actress (she plays sisters Roxanne and Ruby on OLTL's soap-within-a-soap,
Fraternity Row). The two actors virtually jump off the screen and into viewers'
laps. "Our love scenes work because they're full of fun," ventures Tuck. A Yale grad,
Tuck majored in psychology before turning to acting. With that background to help her
project the emotional turmoil of her characters, she has a bright future on the soaps.
She's already appeared in one feature film, "Bloodscape." Audiences love James DePaiva's
macho appeal - crazed fans clamored for his return when he left the show for two months
last winter. Summer spoilers: Recently returned veteran OLTL nogoodnik
Marco Dane (Gerald Anthony), who is in love with Megan; and Spring Skye (Sharon
Schlarth), Megan's rival soap star, who'll do her best to ruin Megan's love life and
her career. OLTL head writer S. Michael Schnessel promises "lots of good old-
fashioned bitchy cat fights ahead!"
