Your door to the world of DVD ... where we don't talk over your head.
Capacity
The capacity of the DVD disk is aproximately 130 minutes of MPEG compressed
video, by computer standards it works out to 4.7 gigabytes, roughtly 7 times
the amount of a standard CD which can hold 650 MB (megabytes).
Remember though that a DVD disc can also be dual layered and dual sided, taking
this into account would give the DVD disc the potential of holding 28 times the capacity
of a standard CD.
