With younger and younger generations becoming avid users of the home video market, it can often raise the question when parents or the appropriate supervision is not available, "What are your children watching?"
All players, that I am aware of, come equipped with a lockable by password rating feature. This when activated, can make certain DVD titles unplayable without the password. The password should be set by the appropriate person in the player's setup menu.
The rating feature has 3 settings available to the viewer. The first setting makes all titles playable, the second makes adult titles unplayable, and the third allows only children's titles to be played without a password.
