Airplane II: The Sequel
It's back to the unfriendly skies and beyond as many years later space travel to the moon only promises more hilarious havoc for all in "Airplane II: The Sequel."
Once again starring Robert Hays and Julie Hagerty, we are treated to many familiar faces as well as a few new. Unfortunately, the jokes fall into the same category with few new and plenty of the familiar rehashed, giving a little bit of nostalgic feel from the first movie, but overall, little comedic satisfaction as jokes never seem quite as funny the second time around.
Also again, like the first, the movie falls often into the lewd and rude category leaving I'm sure many a viewer wondering how in the world this movie ever pulled off a PG rating.
Parental Note: Minor Language, Offensive Themes, Sexual Overtones, Brief Nudity
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but there are no extras.
